What a fab time I had with my husband in September. We had been promising ourselves that one day we would get there and so we did for our 35th wedding anniversary.

We stayed at Kixbys (formerly The Metro). The amazing night time views of The Empire State Building was from their rooftop bar called The Lookup. It definitely had the WOW factor. The hotel was in a great location with Macy's, Empire State Building, and not far away from Times Square. The hotel has had a total refurbishment, the rooms are really good with tea and coffee maker, soft drinks in the fridge on arrival and bottles of water. Would definitely stay here again.

Top Tip. Take the Hop-on Hop-off bus and pay the extra for VIP as it allows you to go to the front of the queue. We saw so many of the iconic sights in New York including Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, top of the Empire State Building We loved every minute and will definitely go back sometime.
