Return to Phokaia!

Mark Warner Phokaia Beach Resort

We went to the Phokaia resort ten years ago so decided to go back with the ‘children’ to see how it had changed. The children said it was much smaller than they remember!! Enjoying a prime beachside location, Mark Warner holidays are fabulous for families of all ages - they have great kids clubs (not required anymore!) but we choose this type of holiday for the activities they offer: Water-sports: From sailing and windsurfing to kayaking and paddle boards; Tennis & Pickleball (4 courts); Cycling: Both road and mountain bikes are available and guided tours or explore on your own; An onsite gym and choice of fitness and relaxation classes; Wellness & relaxation: Unwind with a treatment in the spa, detox in the hammam or sauna, or simply laze by the indoor and outdoor pools or down at the beach. Dining is buffet style with lots of choice and delicious local specialities: 5 days full board and 2 days half-board (breakfast and lunch) are included each week - the other 2 evenings a week offer the chance to enjoy the local restaurants. For our 2 nights ‘out out’ we ventured into Foca (pronounced "Foh-cha") – the old town bursts with character with its cobbled streets and stone houses with a lively harbour full of colourful fishing boats. There is a large choice of restaurants – our favourite was tucked in a pretty little street lit with fairy lights, just off the harbour called 'Zeytuni Meyhane & Kahvalti'
