Norwegian Aqua: Norwegian Cruise Line

In March 2025, I was lucky enough to be invited onboard the brand new ship by Norwegian Cruise Line, Norwegian Aqua, the first vessel in its Prima Plus class. With so much space, incredible facilities, entertainment, pools, restaurants and bars I am sold.

The ship can accommodate up to 3,571 guests and is served by a crew of 1,597.

The ship offers a range of accommodations to suit various preferences. The Haven: NCL's exclusive "ship within a ship" featuring the all-new Three-Bedroom Duplex Suites. These suites come with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and access to a private sundeck, along with personalized services. Not to mention your own restaurant and bar.

Staterooms: Guests can choose from are inside rooms, ocean view rooms, and balcony staterooms, each designed with comfort and style in mind.

Norwegian Aqua has several dining venues as part of their complimentary offering and of course the speciality restaurants for those wanting to pay a little extra for even more choice. The complimentary offerings (5 restaurants) were excellent and with the signature restaurants onboard you really are spoilt for choice. Complimentary restaurants include:

2 main restaurants - Hudson and Commodore Buffet restaurant - Surfside Café & Grill 24hr offering - The Local Bar & Grill Indulge - Order from an IPAD with food choices from around the world

The specialities restaurants include:

Norwegian Aqua offers a variety of entertainment and recreational options. Here are just some:

Aqua Slidecoaster: The world's first hybrid roller coaster and water slide, providing a thrilling ride at sea Glow Court: A high-tech, glow-in-the-dark sports complex for basketball and other activities Infinity Beach: An extended beach area on Ocean Boulevard, featuring scenic views and an infinity pool Thermal Suite: A wellness area including a steam room, salt room, ice room, charcoal sauna, and the first clay sauna at sea

Add in loads more entertainment venues with shows, bars and activities. This ship is amazing!

Not forgetting, as well as all of this onboard, you'll also be visiting incredible ports of call on the way!
