Greek Island hopping

I will be weaving my way through a mix of little‑known, traditional islands where life moves slowly and the locals still greet you by name in tiny harbourside tavernas, as well as the big hitters you will definitely recognise, like dazzling Santorini with its famous sunsets and whitewashed villages.

Think lazy days sailing between islands, diving into crystal‑clear coves, long lunches by the water and evenings spent wandering cobbled lanes draped in bougainvillea. It is the perfect way to experience the real Greece, as well as those postcard‑perfect moments you already know and love.

We started in Athens, the vibrant capital, and what a place to begin. Full of ancient history and modern energy, with rooftop bars and restaurants overlooking the Acropolis, it is incredibly easy to get around and explore. By day you can wander between ancient sites and shady squares, and by night you can watch the Parthenon glow above the city as you enjoy dinner with a view. It set the tone perfectly before heading out to the islands.
