Family fun in Devon with the family and 2 dogs

I have just returned from a fantastic family cottage breaks with our 2 dogs. We stayed in the stunning Old roundhouse in Hartland Devon. The cottage was very spacious with 5 bedrooms and bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 10 people with 2 pets. It's a gorgeous barn conversion in a beautiful area surrounded by fields and on the edge of the owners farm our dogs enjoyed our own very large garden. Perfect for anyone looking for peace and tranquility.

We choose the cottage to be able to relax and have privacy to enable us to enjoy days out in the school holidays but also escape the crowds when we wanted to have family time. We also had enough space to not get on top of each other. 2 bedrooms were downstairs and 2 upstairs and 1 bedroom in a separate entrance to the cottage all with your own en suite which made it perfect for everyone.

The cottage had everything you needed for a home from home if not more. You can get local food delivered for your arrival to make life easy and the local put serves excellent food and dogs can go in. We enjoyed many days out our main venture was to Bude where we returned a few times as it's just 30 minutes drive away. Other days out to Clovelly and Saunton did not disappoint. So much in the area to do I have brought back lots of information. The games room kept everyone entertained and we also had gorgeous weather so played cricket and football in the garden and took advantage of the bbq and lovely garden with table and chairs and also a very good sized hot tub. The living room had sky tv and the owner arranged for us to watch a boxing match while we were there.

All in all a fantastic break and we look forward to returning to the cottage in the future.
