Cyprus Gems

In March 2018 I was very delighted to be offered a space on an educational trip hosted by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation. The itinerary was jam packed with all of the gems which Cyprus has to offer, providing an in depth tour of Agia Napa, Larnaca, Limassol, Omodos Village, Pathos and what was to become my personal favorite - Tochni Village.

Luckily for me the theme of this trip was discovering the destination, our aim was to understand the real Cyprus, the parts not everyone gets to see. I have holidayed with family here but as a guest of the CTO it was amazing to gain a real insight for my clients into this year round destination.

With the most amazing food (who knew Cyprus Potatoes were so special?), a local vineyard with wine tasting, where to make and buy the best local bread, visits to the many archeological sites, monasteries, museums, caves, secluded beaches, legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, did I mention the amazing food?

I now can consider Cyprus as one of my many specialist destination subjects. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break in the sun with relatively short flights, a large or small Wedding/Honeymoon destination, a sports focused trip, Yoga retreat, an educational trip for food, drinks or history - Cyprus is an ideal destination for all.
