My name is Lisa Dines, I am a Travel Counsellor currently based in Paphos, Cyprus but originally from Hastings in the UK. I have lived in Cyprus for 13 years now with my partner and 4 children. I would like to think that I can call myself a destination expert for Cyprus, Aphrodite’s Island of Love.

Before becoming a travel counsellor in 2020 I had 20 years travel industry experience. Initially starting in leisure moving onto VIP and corporate, my most recent role was Cyprus manager for one of the largest International marine travel companies looking after crew movements, corporate travel for shore based staff, and family holiday trips for both.

Between my experiences in the travel industry I served 7 years in the Royal Navy, travelling the globe extensively both at sea and on shore; specifically Europe, Middle East, Caribbean, North and South America and even the Falkland Islands. I have a passion for travel. I visited 90% of the Caribbean islands during various deployments with the Royal Navy so have great destination knowledge in those areas.

My Navy background has given me a lifelong passion for the sea, as such I am a big fan of cruises.
