Why Not Try An Unspoilt Turkish Riviera Delight?

This trip started off very well due to the fact I booked a Meet & Greet service to park my car – as we were not due back until the early hours I thought a little indulgence was in order and what a fabulous service it is, you just drive up hand over keys and stroll into departures and on return they are waiting for you in the same spot very smooth and no waiting for shuttle buses. We decided earlier in the week to book the VIP Lounge where we had a few complimentary pre flight drinks and snacks well worth it!

Having never been to Turkey before despite it being one of my top selling destinations all I really knew was what my clients had told me. My trip along with some TC colleagues was an educational to visit some soon to be exclusive properties to Travel Counsellors.

Our base for the few days was the Oasis Hotel in Kalkan – a small and very friendly boutique 17 bedroom hotel which would definitely suit couples. Lady luck was on my side and I ended up in one of the penthouse suites.

Situated just 5 mins walk into the centre where there are many restaurants and the quality of the food really surprised me for a small town. Everyone takes great pride in their service and presentation. After breakfast we visited the Asfiya Hotel still suited to couples but good for families as well, this place has a massive pool and a cool chill out area, Spa facilities – Sauna , steam room, Turkish bath. With only 42 rooms you get a lot of hotel but never will you feel crowded. Only 10 mins walk into town

I cannot go into detail about every property we visited but I have to give a special mention to the Lykia Residence and Spa whose chef cooked for us on a couple of occasions – if Gastronomy is your thing you will not be disappointed here nor anywhere we went to be honest this is a town for foodies. two restaurants definitely worth a visit are the Aubergine and Kalamaki (try the rooftop dining)

We did visit quite a number of villas which quite honestly blew me away not only the quality but the locations. A number of these villas were twinned so it would be able to cater for a large group

We took a trip 20km down the coast to a very charming village called Kas – out on the peninsula we got to visit the Kas Peninsula Gardens hotel & spa. Simply stunning location, the majority of the suites have plunge pools, this place is perfect for couples or honeymooners see the attached photos.

For more in depth details about any of the properties or towns visited just drop me a line I for one will definitely be returning to this charming area of Turkey along with some friends we will probably pick one the villas and try a different restaurant each night.
