Gold Travel Counsellors Trip to Jamaica

This year our Gold Travel Counsellors weekend was in Jamaica. I travelled out a few days prior and stayed at the Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay which is an adult only all-inclusive resort. I would highly recommend the resort as there is a great choice of places to eat and drink and the rooms are very spacious and have everything you need in them.

After a few days at Secrets we then joined the group and stayed at the Half Moon in Montego Bay which is set on 400 acres of grounds with two miles of beachfront. We had groups of between 9-16 of us and we stayed in the Rose Hall Villas by Half moon. Each villa has a cook, housekeeper and butler - we were truly spoilt. We also had a private swimming pool and garden and even a couple of golf buggies to get around the resort. Even though we had our own private villas we still had access to the whole of Half Moons resort facilities.

During our time in Jamaica, we were hosted by Sandals Montego Bay and had an open air meal on the beach followed by a disco with a live band, this was a fabulous evening. Also had a ‘White & Gold’ evening at the Secrets resort.

Our time was short in Jamaica so I did not get an opportunity to explore this fabulous Island but next time I will do for sure.
