I am an independent travel agent working with award winning Travel Counsellors, based on the north coast of Cornwall. Travel is more than places to me, it’s about the people you meet, the moments you treasure and the stories you bring home.

Having had a keen interest in travel from a young age, this has grown into a career spanning over 30 years in various sectors of the industry, most notably luxury self catering holidays and specialist tour operation - where I spent 10 years curating long haul itineraries for both individuals and groups to South and Central America.

I love being a Travel Counsellor because it allows me the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for from your holiday — whether that’s a UK escape or a long-haul adventure. Using my expertise and the latest industry technology, I’ll design a bespoke itinerary just for you, refining it together until it’s exactly right. As part of Travel Counsellors, I have access to a wide network of airlines and trusted travel partners, and being independent, I can tailor every detail to suit your unique requirement, without being tied to specific suppliers. There is no fee for my time, my help in researching your trip is simply part of the service.

Once you book, I can take care of many of the pre departure arrangements such as booking airline seats, travel insurance and airport parking. I will personally be on hand to answer any queries or questions you may have about your trip before you travel and you will not be held in call centre queues when you contact me. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to have travelled to many countries, both personally and professionally. I draw on these experiences when creating itineraries for clients, some key ones have been cruising the Galapagos Islands, safari in Kenya, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, trekking in the Simien mountains in Ethiopia, spotting jaguars in Brazil, road trips in the USA, Canadian Rockies and New Zealand, seeing the Taj Mahal at dawn and staying in remote lodges in the Amazon rainforest. Since having children our holidays have predominantly been closer to home, but still as rewarding with unforgettable adventures to Lapland, Disneyland, Marrakech and Albania.

Growing up in Cornwall and throughout my career, I’ve seen both the positive impact and the challenges tourism can bring to a destination. That’s why I love creating itineraries with care — recommending experiences that support local communities while offering meaningful, authentic moments that enrich your holiday.
