Tuscany visit

I recently spent four days in various different parts of Tuscany. Siena was stunning, with cobbled streets and traditional shops, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this for a romantic getaway. The hotels are small and friendly and the people go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s a stunning part of Italy and I would definitely return. Florence is another stunning location with a lovely square to eat and enjoy a few drinks. I would recommend this again for couples wanting a romantic break. There are plenty of places to eat and lots of sightseeing to be done. The ice cream is amazing here! We then went on to Rome and visited all the sights including the Trevi fountain, which was stunning. You can have a lovely photo moment here and there is plenty of room for everyone. We had a city tour which I would recommend so you don't spend all your time looking for things. The Vatican was beautiful; a top tip is to arrive as early as possible as it does get very busy, if you want to go inside. Overall Italy is one of my favourite places in the world. It really is stunning and the buildings are beautiful.
NEW YORK 2011

I spent 2 nights in New York. A fantastic city with plenty to see and do, and great shopping! We stayed 2 nights at the Grand Hyatt hotel, which is in a fantastic location, next door to central station, so easy to get around the city. We went to the Marriott hotel for a cocktail in the revolving restaurant; you can see the city for miles, excellent views, a little tip, please go before 7pm as they charge an $8 cover charge after that time, per person on top of your drinks. We also did the 9/11 memorial walk which was very moving, the guides are very knowledgeable about the city and explain lots about what happened on that day. The Rockefeller centre is worth a trip too, again the views from the top are amazing, a must see. The open top bus tours are a great way to get around the city while learning about it too, and they are hop on and off so if you want to stop for lunch you can hop back on later. Staten Island ferry is a must do, this is a free ferry service that goes over to Staten Island and you pass the statue of liberty, great photo moments, we went there and straight back. Went for evening meal at the Fig and Olive restaurant which I can highly recommend, the food was lovely and the staff were very helpful, it does get busy so please book in advance.

We have booked the last three holidays sat on our sofa with a glass of wine and every time it’s an ultra smooth experience. Tracy listens to what we require in all areas and she never fails to come up with what we’ve asked for and very quickly. I’m very fussy, but she doesn’t make me feel awkward and she really does make sure you have what you ask for. Tracy really knows her stuff and goes above and beyond..We have total trust and confidence in our holidays since we’ve used Tracy, never again will I sit in a travel agents shop. I have had a great Norway holiday arranged by Tracy in Feb (I can't credit her with arranging the northern lights which were amazing) but all the other arrangements were great too. I have just booked for Italy in August which had Tracy pulling out all the stops to try and fit into 10 days my list of requests. I think without her knowledge our time in Italy would have been spent on trains in my quest to see everything. Tracey was highly recommended to us through friends who had already booked holidays with her and we weren't disappointed, the knowledge and experience she has is astounding. She beats the local high street travel agents by miles! Nothing was too much trouble, even when we were unsure of which hotel we wanted to book she was on hand to gives us the best advice on what to choose.

I was looking for a ski trip at a reasonable price and I must say Tracy found us an absolute bargain. I couldn't quite believe the price and was expecting hidden costs but there were none. Finding the right person to find a holiday can be a bit of a nightmare and a challenge. In our case, Tracy took over our booking from our last agent, she has been a godsend to us by being able to reply promptly to all our queries and has given us advice and guidance regarding our last holiday. I was booking a holiday to Rome for my boyfriend, a place i have never been before and somebody I knew recommended that I try Tracy Foley as I had never been with a personal travel agent before. We went skiing last easter and had a really good time, Tracy arranged everything for us, even working on an evening which is good for me because i work long hours so I could ring after five,nothing was too much trouble for her and everything went to plan. I contacted Tracy firstly late on a Friday afternoon...forgetting to leave a relevant email adress/phone no. for over the weekend.However, bless her she emailed my work for me and first thing monday morning I had potential holidays lined up for me. Tracy gives 1000% service; she has a very friendly and personable manner and is always helpful in advising on holidays. If there is a problem she returns calls straight away, and deals with the problem as soon as it is possible. This enhances the holiday experience taking away any worries you may have had, with Tracy you know that one phone call is all it takes to take the worry away. I have booked several holidays with Tracy; from a quick dash to Amsterdam for three to Florida for twelve. Always helpful, in fact she suggested we go to Croatia as I needed inspiration. Tracy took the details of where we wanted to go then rang us back with a better deal. Very competitive with price, I don't even bother to shop round now. What a fabulous trip to New York we had. Tracy provided a personal service that was second to none. Not only did Tracy book our holiday, she arranged our transport to and from the airport and even booked our Broadway show. Our hotel was centrally located and as the trip was for my daughter's 21st, Tracy had arranged for a birthday card to be waiting in the room there was also complimentary chocolates for her on arrival. Tracy requested a room with a view for us and we were not disappointed, a room on the 31st floor with a view of the Empire State Building. It truly was a memorable holiday and I will definitely be booking my future holidays with Tracy.
