Silver Muse - Southampton

I was lucky enough to be part of a small group of Travel Counsellors invited to spend some time onboard Silversea's newest ship Silver Muse. It is rare for one of their special ships to come into the UK. They do sail from Tower Bridge in London sometimes so this was a rare opportunity to see the ship in Southampton.

Silversea are a luxury brand, they do luxury in a discreet understated way. The décor onboard is subdued and subtle. Beautifully appointed cabins with everything you need to enjoy your cabin.

Different dining venues around the ship offer everything from a light snack or afternoon tea to a Relais & Chateau restaurant.

There are a mixture of bars and lounges around the ship, easy going informal areas to eat inside and out on deck or more formal venues. Or you can sit and watch the world go by.

This ship carries 600 passengers with 400 crew. All food and drink and gratuities are included.

The destination is very important to Silversea, they visit almost 600 ports around the globe including their expedition cruises to The Galapagos or the Antarctic.
