Hello, my name is Clare and I am a Travel Counsellor based in Northborough near Peterborough.
I have been in travel since 1993, in roles ranging from a high street travel agent, worldwide travel consultant, managing a UK based duty office that provided an emergency service to clients abroad and a customer relations officer.
I have been lucky enough to have seen so many places and travel the world extensively. If I had to hand pick just a couple of my favourite places, I think it would have to the Canadian Rockies, for the truly outstanding scenery nature and laid back way of life and Thailand for the diversity, the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, the beautiful lush region of northern Thailand with the hill tribes and the total relaxation and serenity of the idyllic beaches on the surrounding islands. I was left in total awe of the Thai people and it certainly lives up to its reputation, ’The Land of Smiles’.
With my vast experience in the travel industry I am passionate in using my wealth of knowledge and my first-hand experience of destinations to make holiday recommendations.
I have expertise in all areas of Travel and specialise in the Leisure, Groups (including sporting groups) and Business Travel Accounts.
I understand not everyone is able to discuss their travel plans during the normal working day, therefore I work across two sites, shop and home. This gives me more flexibility to organise your travel arrangements at a time more convenient for you. So please feel free to contact me in the evenings.
I also have a office within the Peterborough Regional College Campus, so please feel free to pop in and see me. Opening hours Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm ( term time only)
