With the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, I have spent much of my time not just planning travel, but actively protecting it. While headlines focus on disruption, behind the scenes there are real people facing cancelled flights, changed routes, and in some cases, the disappointment of not being able to travel at all. It is also important to recognise that for many living in the region, this is far more than an inconvenience. It is a deeply unsettling time, and travel disruption is just one small part of a much bigger picture.

This week alone, I have supported clients through two very different situations.
