European River Cruising - Here is the lowdown

Fancy a bit of culture? And a bit of fine dining?

If the answer is yes then you need to look at a European river cruise. I was lucky enough to be chosen to go on an educational by a company we use called APT.

In just one week I saw Mozart's birthplace in Salzsburg as well as the famous fountain used in a scene from the Sound of Music. The castle which kept Richard the Lionheart captive for 6 months. Austria's capitol Vienna where I attended a Mozart recital. Bratislava the capitol of Slovakia and the fabulous opera House and St Stephens Basilica in Budapest. As well as a few other smaller excursions like wine tasting etc.

I could go on and on describing the amount of places we saw but I think pictures tell a better story see attached

I was fine dined all the way with food and drink relative to where we actually were at the time check out a sample menu in the attached photos.

This is a serious alternative to Ocean cruising and offers a great deal of choice from the Rhine to the Rhone and the Blue Danube not to mention river cruises in France, Spain, Portugal and Russia.
