Ah Paris.  You're probably thinking of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and maybe Ratatouille.  But how about something a little different?  I work with some fantastic local guides who can show you a different side to Paris.

Prepare yourself for a culinary adventure through the diverse and vibrant Marais neighbourhood of Paris! From the well-preserved medieval streets to the lively Jewish quarter and thriving gay scene, there's no shortage of interesting places to explore. Get ready to indulge in local delicacies and experience the city's gourmet delights while you eat, drink, and discover everything this eclectic area has to offer!

Embark on a journey of discovery through the mysterious allure of Paris with a knowledgeable local guide on this fabulous city tour that combines hidden gems with delectable bites and wine - a recipe for success!

Your adventure begins at the Centre Pompidou, an architectural marvel and home to Europe's largest collection of modern art. Next, we'll wander over to the Hôtel de Ville, where executions once took place, for a taste of the city's history. Meandering through the charming Marais district, we'll uncover medieval churches, charming homes, and quaint alleyways.

Along the way, we'll swing by a renowned bakery for a taste of their award-winning baguette and indulge in a delectable meringue treat called a 'merveilleux.'

Alright, buckle up folks, because our next stop is Rue Saint-Croix-de-la-Bretonnerie, a street so old even the cobblestones have stories to tell. Nowadays, it’s the heart of the French gay scene, full of trendy boutiques and chic cafes. We’ll delve into how this once shady area transformed into a fashionista’s paradise and the epicenter of “bobo” culture.

And of course, we can’t miss out on trying a scrumptious macaron from a top Parisian pastry chef. Just a stone’s throw away is Rue des Rosiers, where the Jewish community thrives in a bustling street lined with falafel joints and mouth-watering delis.

Strolling past the magnificent Saint-Paul’s church (we’re just admiring from the outside), we’ll saunter over to the stunning Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris and former hangout of literary legend Victor Hugo. After that, we’ll make our way to a local wine bar for a tasting session and some heavenly cheese platters to share. Cheers to the good life!

After a brief stroll, you'll reach our ultimate stop, the famous Bastille Square - once a prison, now a symbol of revolution after being stormed on July 14, 1789. Surrounding the area are numerous bars and restaurants for you to continue your night in the dazzling City of Light! Cheers to endless options for a fabulous evening!
