You'll be eligible to work in the UK and able to fund your initial training.
The package
With an average of 25 years’ experience, our accredited trainers deliver industry-leading expertise. This ensures you have the skills and knowledge to build a successful career as an independent travel franchise agent. Your initial training is delivered in small groups and covers all aspects of launching your own travel agency franchise, including:
A six-month ITT-accredited Academy training programme, with 10 days of live virtual learning covering all aspects of how the travel industry operates. You'll also get access to Discover, our on-demand learning platform for building skills at your own pace.
Your own personal mentor guiding you through your first 12 months, plus support from 450+ specialists across our corporate, marketing, IT, Accounts, commercial, and aviation teams.
You'll learn get access to our full leisure toolkit, including TC Co-Pilot, myTC locate, the myTC app, and a laptop with all software pre-installed.
Compliance training and accreditation, including ATOL bonding and all licensing, plus our unique Travel Trust cover, one of the best consumer protections in the industry.
You'll be supported by a people-first culture built on care, plus a global community of travel professionals and over 2,200 Travel Counsellors who'll share ideas, supplier knowledge, referrals, and support whenever you need it.
You'll discover how to market your travel business effectively and grow your income. You'll also get credit for branded merchandise, so you can build your business identity, plus a complimentary ticket to our 2026 Annual Conference.

Step by step
5 days prior to start
Once your laptop arrives, you’ll complete a few short digital modules to get you ready for your induction. You’ll cover key compliance, the basics of setting up your business and an introduction to the technology and tools you’ll use throughout your training.
First 2 weeks
Your 10-day virtual induction combines live sessions with digital learning and practical tasks. You’ll cover everything from technology and commercial thinking to marketing, suppliers, sales, and running your business – giving you the skills and knowledge you need to go live.
Months 2-5
Once your business is live, structured training and coaching continues for six months. You’ll build your operational, product, and sales skills through group coaching, digital learning and tailored training – with development shaped around your experience, knowledge, and business goals.
Month 6
Your official onboarding ends with a day at our Manchester support centre to celebrate your progress, continue your training and review your business. Your development doesn’t stop there, with ongoing learning as products, technology, and the travel industry continue to evolve.
Income potential
You keep the majority of the commission you generate, with many Travel Counsellors seeing their income grow as they establish their customer base.
