Based in Heybridge
My mission is to get to know you like a good friend or a close personal assistant would. I'd like you to feel completely comfortable dropping me a message or giving me a call whenever you're dreaming of a getaway. It's all about creating that perfect holiday just for you, with all the little details tailored to what you love. Think of me as your go-to concierge for travel, always here to listen, understand, and turn your holiday dreams into reality. And like a true friend, should things not go quite to plan (pesky volcanoes, strikes, fires or other unexpected unpleasantness), I'll also be right there for you.
A little about me…
My husband thinks I am annoying because “I have been everywhere”. “Have you been to the Maldives? Have you been to Japan? ‘course you have” with a role of the eyes.
Well, no, not exactly….I haven’t been everywhere just yet but I am working on it! It helps that I used to be a scuba diving instructor, an entertainment team member as well as a shore excursions manager on cruise ships for 3 years where I was lucky enough to do one of my 2 epic round the world trips. I also worked for a travel insurance company, a car hire company, a luxury cruise call centre, a well known high street travel agent and a couple of large hotel chains.
Now as your personal TC, my travel experience is finally not annoying anymore! This is how I can give you advice, recommendations and put my knowledge and passion to good use when you book with me. I love nothing more than tailor making complex itineraries and including once in a life time experiences.
From Svalbard to Antarctica and twice around the world (I know, I already said that...) including Australia, New Zealand, the East and West Coast of the USA, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, around South America, the Caribbean as well as South Africa, India, Myanmar and a lot of Europe too, I have been very lucky to have travelled or lived in amazing places.
All these adventures slowed down when I had my little boy (now 14!) and suddenly, all inclusive holidays and cruises turned into just the thing I dreamt of (and needed!) so I have that kind of first-hand experience too.
I am Jill, mum to Sienna, 6, and Enzo, citizens of the world currently living Heybridge near the beautiful village of Maldon in Essex with my husband Leigh, a long serving fire firefighter and our cockapoo called Bentley. From our first contact to find out all about your dream holiday to your return, I am with you all the way with 24/7 support wherever you are in the world. I am available at a time that suit you as I can work from anywhere anytime. We can video chat or meet in person over a cup of tea or a glass of wine or simply over the phone if you prefer.
I'll send you a link to download the MyTC app and I'll be able to send you a detailed quote, with pictures and all the information you need. You can then give me a thumbs up, request to book and pay securely through the app, If you are arranging a trip for a group, each of you can get access to the app and make their own payment. No more collecting money and chasing endlessly! Once your booking is confirmed, your flights, transfers, hotels, activities...everything will be in the app, in one place. Just brilliant!
And of course, your money is safe with The Travel Counsellors Financial Trust providing 100% financial protection on everything you book with me.
So many reasons to get in touch!
I can't wait to hear from you to start planning your dream holidays.
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so simply give me a call or send me an email with your contact details on and I can get things started for you:
I absolutely live and breathe travel and I love to write about my experiences! Please take a look through my posts - you might find your own holiday inspiration.

Travelling with family is an incredible opportunity to create lasting memories, strengthen bonds, and introduce your loved ones to the wonders of the world. However, trying to please everyone in the family can be hard work, especially if you have a big age gap between your children like I do. I've put together some fantastic family-friendly responsible touring and adventure holiday ideas that offer both excitement for the whole family and the added feel good factor of eco-consciousness. Costa Rica - Eco-Adventure Paradise Costa Rica is a tropical haven that offers thrilling adventures while prioritizing responsible tourism. From exploring lush rainforests to spotting diverse wildlife and experiencing zip-lining adventures, Costa Rica has something for everyone. The country's commitment to eco-tourism is evident through its numerous eco-lodges and wildlife sanctuaries. Make sure to visit Arenal Volcano National Park, where you can hike, relax in natural hot springs, and learn about local conservation efforts. Norway - Family Expedition in the Fjords Norway is renowned for its stunning fjords, and it's also a leader in responsible tourism. Consider a family expedition cruise along the Norwegian coast to witness breathtaking landscapes, spot whales, and explore charming coastal villages. Opt for cruises that adhere to strict environmental guidelines, such as using clean energy sources and supporting local communities. You can also introduce your kids to the Northern Lights during the winter season. New Zealand - Adventure in Middle-Earth New Zealand's diverse landscapes have earned it the nickname "Middle-Earth" due to its role in the Lord of the Rings films. The country boasts an array of family-friendly adventures, such as hiking, kayaking, and bungee jumping. When planning your trip, prioritize eco-friendly accommodations, support local Maori culture, and immerse your family in New Zealand's stunning natural beauty. Thailand - Eco-Friendly Island Hopping Thailand's stunning islands are perfect for a family beach vacation with a sustainable twist. Consider eco-friendly island hopping tours that promote responsible snorkeling, support local communities, and protect marine ecosystems. Choose accommodations that have earned eco-certifications and participate in conservation activities like beach clean-ups and coral restoration projects. Iceland - Geothermal Wonderland Iceland offers a unique opportunity for families to explore a land of glaciers, volcanoes, geysers, and hot springs. Make your visit eco-friendly by opting for guided tours that follow Leave No Trace principles, choosing energy-efficient accommodations, and exploring geothermal pools. Kids will be mesmerized by the otherworldly landscapes, and you'll feel good about minimizing your carbon footprint. Galapagos Islands - Wildlife Discovery The Galapagos Islands are a UNESCO World Heritage site and a living laboratory of evolution. When planning a family trip, choose eco-friendly cruises or land-based tours led by certified naturalist guides. These guides ensure minimal impact on the fragile ecosystems while providing insightful education about the unique wildlife. Experiencing encounters with giant tortoises, marine iguanas, and blue-footed boobies is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the whole family. Responsible family-friendly touring and adventure holidays allow you to explore the world responsibly while creating cherished memories with your loved ones. From the tropical rainforests of Costa Rica to the fjords of Norway and the geothermal wonders of Iceland, there are countless destinations that offer eco-conscious experiences. Prioritize eco-friendly accommodations, support local communities, and engage in conservation activities to ensure your family's travel adventures have a positive impact on the planet. By choosing responsible tourism, you're not only providing your family with unforgettable experiences but also contributing to a more sustainable future for all. If this sounds exactly like your kind of holiday, contact me to help you plan and arrange it all for you.
