Abe Remmo

I wanted to take my husband somewhere special for his 60th birthday and after discussion with Abe (the brief was to somewhere hot, with lots to do and plenty of wildlife for my husband to photograph), I decided on Sri Lanka. Abe came up trumps with a fantastic itinerary which satisfied the brief on all points, and gave us some much needed down time at the end. He took the anxiety out of planning a trip of this importance, and given we had used his services before, we knew we would have nothing to worry about, except making sure we made the most of our trip! We had the most amazing time and due to the multi-centre nature of the trip, really felt like we'd been away for ages by the time we started our relaxation stage of the holiday. My husband saw a leopard on his birthday, which absolutely made his day. The only down side being that I'm not sure how to top this next year! Abe has just helped my wife and I to realise the trip of our dreams - a 9 week adventure to California, Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand and Singapore. From our very first conversation, I was struck by his enthusiasm for our project and his willingness to listen and come up with ideas and solutions to match our wish list. He is very easy to communicate with and as our conversations and planning progressed I was most impressed by his flexibility and eagerness to please. By the end, I felt I had gained a friend who was as every bit excited about the trip as I was. The end result was near perfection. Everything ran seamlessly - we were met at each location and transferred to our hotels with great efficiency. Our first night in a mango tree on Tahiti was both as unexpected as it was magical. The fresh flower garland we each received at Papeete airport was also a lovely extra touch. The planned excursions were excellent and made to feel very personal, giving us a genuine feel for authentic Polynesian culture. We very much appreciated that Abe was on standby for the whole of our time away in case we had any queries. The Travel Counsellor app was also very helpful in keeping us updated as to changes in flight times or gate changes as well as giving a list of useful contact numbers. Fortunately all 14 flights we were booked on ran exactly to time. I could not have planned such a complex itinerary without Abe's help and I can thoroughly recommend him to anyone planning a trip in the future. You will not be disappointed by his personal care and attention to detail.

With a special birthday looming, my husband and I decided this was the occasion for the trip of a lifetime. Several friends recommended we consult Abe Remmo. Abe has helped me over many years with short and long haul trips for my work and also family holidays. I cannot recommend him highly enough. On my most recent trip the first leg of my journey was delayed. He informed me that I would be rebooted onto a later flight. Arriving for the connection, I learned my original flight was itself delayed. Despite being early in the morning, Abe was able to respond to my questions and help me transfer the booking (and the baggage) back onto my original flight. He even knew the gate of the flights before they appeared on the airport screens! His quick response saved me another day of travel. 5 stars!

We recently asked Abe to help us organise a family trip to Japan, and Abe was phenomenal. His knowledge and experience meant that he was able to arrange flights, hotels and transfers that worked brilliantly and in a way that I simply could not have done myself. The holiday was a great success and that was very largely down to Abe's skills and expertise. Abe organised a three week family holiday to Singapore and Australia for us recently. There were a lot of complexities to the trip and Abe was very diligent in making sure that he understood these and then spent the time getting everything organised for us well in advance so that all went to plan during the trip. Abe recently organised a trip to South East Asia for myself and my husband. Everything was taken care of and it all ran extremely smoothly. Guides , excursions and hotels were all fantastic. Would highly recommend.

So we decided to go to Portugal , we were long overdue for a break. it made sense to combine the holiday to include a visit to friends living near Lagos and time to explore in and around Lisbon . We told Abe our budget and time scale and he came up with flights, hotels and car hire at a great price. to fit the bill. As a couple neither of us enjoy the trauma of finding flights or hotel deals , so we called in the professional. This is the third time we have used Abe and as always he did not disappoint it was simple and easy and everything from checking to car hire was as described. Excellent service from Abe. From our perspective, we had a fairly complex itinerary in terms of dates, timings and other constraints. Abe was able to put together a package which satisfied all the issues involved. Hotels where we needed them were of excellent quality, and transfers were smooth. On the one occasion that Qantas let us down Abe was able to step in and assist successfully.. All in all, a first class service and we will use Abe again and happily recommend him to others.

I have recently returned from a six week trip to New Zealand. I was lucky enough to have had Abe as my travel counselor. Not only did he fully explain the flight options, he also checked the visa requirements and passport that I would need. The extent of his services did not end once the flights had been booked, he was in regular contact with me to check all my plans were running smoothly, right up until a few days before my departure. I'm used to flying with my husband and family but this was my first solo flight. I therefore found Abe's help and support extremely helpful and comforting in the knowledge that he was their to assist me should any problems arise. Fantastic service from Abe. Managed to get the flights to suit my busy itinerary. The myTC app was great as handy to see the itinerary and gave me updates even before the airport did! Felt supported by Abe and gave lots of helpful tips for the holiday.

In the past when organising long haul holidays we did it ourselves ,however, on this occasion on the recommendation of a friend we decided that we would use Abe. We are so glad we did he was very efficient and helpful during the booking process, Our first night was spent in Santa Monica where Abe organised a new (to us) hotel which was much better than our old favourite at a similar cost . He also found an excellent and extremely convenient way to pick up and drop off our hire car ( a valet service near our hotel no queue!). In addition he found us the perfect location in Santa Barbra a city unknown to us. Where I was really relieved to have booked through Abe though was on our flight to the USA we nearly missed our connection and I was really worried we would spend the night in Dublin and change all our plans. I must say I was delighted to have him on the other end of the phone reassuring me that he would be there to sort things out if I needed to reschedule anything. I would definitely recommend him!

The personalised service and attention to detail we had from Abe in planning our holiday in Kenya was second to none. From the early stages, when we hadn't even committed to the trip, through the entire process Abe was on hand to offer expert advice and answer our many queries. A week in Artiem Audax in beautiful Cala Galdana in Menorca is just a joy. The hotel offers great choice of rooms, two restaurants and two cafés, glorious spa, pool high above the bays& sports activities. It’s adults only. This wee place has good public transport to Mahon, Ferreries & Ciutadella. There are excellent walks And what’s the best thing - asking Abe Remmo to come up with a package to meet your own needs. He does this with speed and with options you might not have thought of. And he’s with you all the way with updates and up to date information.

Abe was brilliant. I'd definitely go to him again and I've already recommended him to friends. He helped work out where in Africa I wanted to go, gave me a number of options to choose from and then booked everything for me as a package. He kept me fully informed and made sure I was on top of the things I needed to sort myself like vaccinations and visa applications. He even went the extra mile and checked make sure I made my flight connections okay. Thanks Abe!

This was our 3rd attempt due to covid at visiting Seattle/Hawaii/Washington. We had previously booked through our usual travel agent however this time Abe was able to give us a more competitive price. He provided a very personal service, especially in the beginning, asking many questions regarding the type of holiday we were looking for and giving ideas that we had not thought of. He then contacted us a few days prior to the journey to ensure we were confident about everything and had no concerns. We had a last minute decision to go to a wedding in Canada, We had to find travel arrangements quickly as we were to be witnesses. We contacted Abe. We got his details through close friends who have used him for many years, We gave him the dates etc about 9am on a Thursday and we had a package sent to us before 4pm. So fast - we were busy on a project so it was a life saver. We were able to discuss all options on the Monday and given advice re apps to use etc. The day before travel he was on hand to reassure us when VeriFly failed to link with BA check in. Easy to contact and no question too daft to be offered an answer. Excellent.

I have just returned from another successful trip once again organised by Abe. Abe has organised many trips for us making his recommendations based on our needs and wants. He is on hand from initial enquiry right through to post trip making sure all Is progressing well. The service we get from Abe is always second to none. We give him an idea of what we want and he comes back with several suggestions, all of which are good - the only issue being that it’s then quite difficult to choose!! This year we went to Gran Canaria and didn’t have a huge budget but Abe still managed to come up with a lovely hotel which suited our needs perfectly. As we hired a car we didn’t need the Jet2 coach transfer but still kept getting calls from them about it. Abe with Travel Counsellors organised a family trip for us to Barbados in September to enable us to see our son and family who live in the States . Navigating travel rules has never been more challenging and from my first call with Abe he provided an outstanding service. From researching options for us and family in USA to reviewing information almost daily, and giving us complete confidence that this trip would work. We had several variations of how many were travelling , Abe would happily look into and get us information on costs and travel options. He paid a lot of attention to our requirements and provided several options re destination, number of days etc. He was always available to discuss various issues ( e.g Barbados instituted a curfew the week before we traveled) and seek reassurance at Barbados end as to implications etc. I even had cause to contact him when we arrived re an issue on Covid test results! Overall Abe provided a highly personalised service and had a real passion to make sure our trip was the best it could be.
