Hello there,
My name is Allison, your personal Travel Counsellor. I am originally from Santa Cruz California and used London as my base since 1999. I now live in Dorset with my husband and two daughters.
Before becoming a Travel Counsellor I worked for tour operators as well as travel agents, giving me over 20 years’ experience travelling and providing a wide range of travel arrangements. No stranger to requirements for business trips to extensive tailor-made luxury holidays. From low-cost to splashing out on a private jet, I can assist in making your dreams come true.
Whatever your requirements, I offer the highest level of customer service and seek out the best offers for your needs. Let me take care of the details like transfers, car hire flights accommodation tours, suggestions for things to do and see, recommendations for restaurants, to advice on travelling with children or avoiding them.
Being Californian I have travelled extensively in the USA and have had the pleasure of taking lots of trips of my own. Some of my favourite being lazing at Bujagali Falls in Uganda to spotting Leopard in South Africa, Hill walking in the Faroes to Skiing in Switzerland, tasting Sake in japan to Wine in the Yarra Valley Australia, spotting Proboscis in Borneo to Tigers in India. I have a soft spot for Africa and get to the continent at any opportunity.

Huge thanks and appreciation for the brilliant Allison! Endlessly patient with my questions and mind changes she delivered another brilliant holiday for our family of four. She went above and beyond expectations when we hit a glitch with our flights returning to London (absolutely not the fault of Travel Counsellors) and answered our panicky phone call at 10pm. Always calm and in control. She’s a credit to Travel Counsellors and we wouldn’t think of organising a holiday without her!

Travel consultant extraordinaire! We just got back from a week in Tenerife. Allison found us a wonderful resort that was just perfect for families. Kids had a blast in pools, beach and kids club and we even got a bit of time to relax and unwind too! Allison was also amazing when the flight was cancelled on the way home - arranged a hotel, rebooked flights, located our luggage and even made sure we had food vouchers at the airport. Allison was wonderful. I was a little unsure initially where I wanted to go (we wanted to do, but it was a surprise for my wife). She helped me with all manner of suggestions, quotes etc. Eventually we settled on a destination and that is when Ally really came into her own. She organised literally every aspect of the booking side of things - she even did some calculations to work out that my budget could stretch further than it did and get us an extremely special room which I cannot thank her enough for. I will be using her again for our 'main' honeymoon, and will be advocating her services till I am blue in the face. So simple, a pleasure to deal with and she dealt with me as if I were a friend she was helping out which was what made the process so much more enjoyable rather than transactional. She is a credit to your organisation!
