Paris in Style: Premium Eurostar & a Chic Three Night Stay at Castille Paris

A chic three night Paris escape: glide in by Premium Eurostar, stay at the elegant Castille Paris on Rue Cambon, and wander on foot between designer boutiques and iconic city sights.

Paris always feels special, but this time it felt truly effortless. I travelled from London in Premium class on the Eurostar and checked into the elegant Castille Paris on Rue Cambon, where designer boutiques, iconic sights and that classic Parisian charm were all just a short stroll away.

Travelling to Paris by Eurostar in Premium class is such a lovely way to start a getaway. From the moment you arrive at St Pancras, the whole experience feels calmer and more relaxed. The premium carriage gives you spacious, comfortable seats, plenty of legroom and a quieter atmosphere, with drinks and meals served at your seat. In just over two hours you glide into Gare du Nord feeling like your holiday started back in London, rather than at the Paris hotel.

For my three nights in the city I stayed at the gorgeous Castille Paris, a 5 star boutique hotel tucked away on Rue Cambon. It has that classic Parisian feel: elegant interiors, beautifully styled rooms and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk through the door. My room was a real retreat, with plush bedding and thoughtful little touches that made it very easy to relax after a day out exploring.

What really stood out, though, was the service. The team at Castille Paris were genuinely warm and friendly throughout my stay. Check in felt personal, with helpful suggestions for walks, restaurants and local tips. Across the bar, restaurant and housekeeping, everyone I met was attentive without ever being intrusive, and there was a lovely sense of being a valued guest rather than just another booking.

The location is absolutely perfect. Being on Rue Cambon in the 1st arrondissement means you are surrounded by some of Paris’s most exclusive boutiques and designer stores, so it is ideal if you enjoy a bit of high end shopping or simply browsing beautiful window displays. It is also an excellent base for sightseeing on foot. From the hotel you can stroll to the Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre and the banks of the Seine, and it is an easy walk to Opéra and Place de la Concorde too. When you want to go further afield, there are handy metro links nearby, so the whole city feels within easy reach.

Combining Premium Eurostar with a stay at Castille Paris made this short break feel incredibly smooth and luxurious. The journey was comfortable and stress free, the hotel was stylish and welcoming, and the central location meant I could spend my time wandering, shopping and soaking up the atmosphere rather than worrying about logistics. If you are thinking about a Paris escape, it is a wonderful way to turn a simple three night stay into something that feels really special.
