I chose an exciting and interesting career 40 years ago. Originally I managed a couple of high street agencies before becoming a Travel Counsellor in 1996. Being a Travel Counsellor has enabled me to visit some fantastic places. It's amazing to be able to pass on this knowledge when helping others to book their ideal holiday. Be it for business or leisure I can suggest destinations and hotels to suit your budget. Working directly with hoteliers and tour companies around the world I can create bespoke itineraries suited to your needs. I love arranging something a little different 'off the peg' itineraries. I've had a flurry of bespoke safari holidays recently, all of which I am told were amazing! I've also had the pleasure of helping a few 'solo' travellers which is great. There are lots of people in the same situation. Why stay at home, just go and make new friends on holiday.

I have travelled extensively around the Med, USA and Canada, to name a few. It was in Lake Tahoe that I first learned to ski, and have since been to Italy, Austria and more recently Canada, so if you like something a little more exhilarating I can offer first hand advice. These days my holidays are often spent in Kalkan. I love the laid back pace of life and the local people are wonderful.

I've had the privilege over the last few years of arranging a number of weddings and honeymoons which have been a great success! A wonderful start to married life!

I had lots of holidays before I had my children but I am blessed to have had some fantastic holidays with them too, they're just a lot different. Pleasing them makes the difference between a wonderful holiday and one you would rather forget! Time spent with our families and loved ones is precious. We work hard all year round and deserve the best holiday possible to look forward to.

Being a Travel Counsellor for almost 30 years has given me the best balance between home life and work. We all go to work to provide ourselves and our families with a good standard of living, but I am fortunate to enjoy my job so much that I never get the Monday morning blues! I am always keen to talk about travel to anyone that will listen!

I pride myself that my clients come back to me year after year and I love to hear from them when they return from their holidays to let me know what a wonderful time they've had.
