My name is Elizabeth Shiel and I am an independent travel agent in Rotherham. I have been in the travel industry for 39 years. I joined Travel Counsellors in 2004 and before that I was a Senior Travel Consultant in a high street agency.
I joined Travel Counsellors because I wanted to concentrate on offering my customers the highest possible levels of personal service and independent travel advice. I have many repeat clients who have booked with me for the past 39 years and have been extremely satisfied with my service and have referred me to their Family and Friends.

Finally, this year after postponing this cruise 3 times due to the pandemic, my husband and I finally boarded Azura for a 7-night Mediterranean cruise. We flew from Manchester to Malta, where we boarded Azura. The transfer to the ship was very quick and easy. Once onboard we sat in the sunshine, ate lunch and awaited delivery of our cases to the cabin. When all passengers had embarked we set sail, very exciting.
Our itinerary included.
Ajaccio in Corsica, birthplace of Napoleon. Very pretty tree lined streets with beautiful views of snowcapped mountains in the distance.
Livorno in Italy, we travelled through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Florence. Florence is a beautiful city, excellent for Art lovers. We then travelled to Pisa. I still can’t believe how the tower is standing!! You need to see it to believe it.
Rome, this is a must. Steeped in history, from the Colosseum, Trevi fountain and St Peters Basilica it is breathtaking!
Naples, from Naples we travelled to the very pretty cliff top resort of Sorrento. This is somewhere I would return. I would like to holiday on the Amalfi coast, it is beautiful. We also went to Pompeii , which was once a thriving Roman city which unfortunately was buried under the ash from Mount Vesuvius, but you can still see remains from Roman times, again you need to see it to believe it!
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed being onboard Azura, the food is excellent, we especially enjoyed The Beach House. The entertainment was very good, from live singers, comedians to the Captains Welcome party overall we had a fantastic time, and I can’t wait to sail again.

Liz goes above&beyond to provide the best personal service she can. I know if there was a problem I couldn't resolve myself in resort that Liz would be happy to help or advise. We've had holidays cancelled& Airlines go bust in the passed & Liz has been on the ball asap, even out of office ours to find us alternative holiday,without causing stress to us. As older travellers who to a certain extent don't like all the modern changes to travel, she gives us the confidence to continue booking when possible. Im sure that Liz is like this with all her clients,not just us . Just to add she also has great knowledge about different places, she is always willing to give her opinion, and advice. Which to us is so valued.

I would just like to say Liz is so professional and she always gives her best in fact she gives 150 percent with her job. I have booked with Liz for many years and I also pass her telephone number onto family and friends to hope she get more business. I know the people i have recommend have had so many nice things to say about Liz. I have also booked 2 cruises with her for this year and hope to carry on booking in the future.
