A Scandinavian Summer Adventure: Exploring Norway & Sweden as a Family

This unforgettable family adventure began in Oslo before travelling through some of Norway’s most spectacular scenery. From the vibrant capital, the family travelled by train to Voss, where they enjoyed breathtaking mountain views from the Voss Gondola, before continuing via Myrdal on the famous Flåm Railway. Their stay in the beautiful fjord village of Flåm was packed with adventure, including an exhilarating zipline and downhill bike ride, before a scenic catamaran journey through the fjords took them onwards to Bergen.In Bergen, the family explored the city and took in incredible views from both Mount Fløyen and the Ulriken Gondola. The adventure then headed north to the dramatic Lofoten Islands, where a hire car gave them the freedom to explore towering mountains, picturesque fishing villages and stunning coastlines. An evening kayaking experience was another unforgettable highlight, allowing the family to experience the incredible Norwegian scenery from a completely different perspective.After travelling back to Bodø and enjoying a stay at the impressive Wood Hotel, the family flew onwards to Stockholm for the final part of their Scandinavian adventure. From exciting city breaks and scenic train journeys to fjords, mountains, gondolas, kayaking and the wild beauty of Lofoten, this incredible summer holiday was filled with adventure, breathtaking scenery and unforgettable family memories across Norway and Sweden.
