Budapest is one of those cities that constantly ranks in various top ten lists, yet it’s still hardly visited by many travellers. After seeing so many amazing pictures, I finally decided to make a stop there on my most recent Euro trip. With stunning architecture, refreshing thermal baths, and a culture that can be unique, Budapest lives up to its reputation. Many travellers have yet to commit to Budapest due to old fears. It’s part of Eastern Europe so people tend to have misconceptions of what to expect. English is very commonly spoken, and I assure you there is no communism here. It’s a must visit for tourists looking for something a little off the beaten path. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend break, or a cultural historic adventure, Budapest offers it all. I was extremely lucky to have stayed in the Boscolo Hotels which has been named the most beautiful café in the world. I felt like I was in St Paul's Cathedral, definitely worth a visit for high tea if not an overnight stay. Make sure you bring your walking shoes. We did the hop on hop off and saw every attraction that was listed. However jumping off and exploring the amazing streets and buildings adds to the mileage you will accumulate. Eating and drinking will not drain the Bank. We had a knight out in the Jewish quarter with all the quirky ruin bars and spent between £1.75 and £2.00 a pint and less for a glass of wine.

Toronto is Canada’s most populous city – and one of the world’s most fascinating destinations. There is so much to do, see, and experience here that you are truly spoiled for choice. I recently stayed at The Hotel Victoria’s prime location in the city’s downtown district puts excellent shopping, delicious dining, and exciting cultural attractions right at your fingertips. I loved spending time at the Hockey Hall of Fame, Canada’s favourite sport, which was founded in 1943 to honour both those who helped to develop it and the stars of the modern era. You can also pick up all your souvenir's here, a one stop shop! If you love shopping don't miss out on the Eaton Center. With its magnificent glass galleria and well over 230 shops and restaurants, the Toronto Eaton Centre is an experience not to be missed. It’s connected to the Bay, Canada's largest general merchandise retailer, and newcomers Saks and Nordstrom’s. The harbour front has so much to offer, you will be spoiled for choice with international cuisine, or grab a Tim Hortons and walk along the front and take in the fresh air and view of Lake Ontario.
