Grant has done it once again! Grant has done it once again. I booked a surprise holiday for my wife to mexico and grant was superb in helping me. I explain exactly to him what I wanted and he created the perfect package for me. The holiday went perfect and I would highly recommend anyone looking for the perfect getaway to go with grant. Rated 5 out of 5 stars Mississippi here we come! Grant has been extremely active and helpful in sorting out a trip to the USA for a Paddlewheel Cruise down the lower Mississippi followed by a couple of days in New Orleans based on an ititial very vague enquiry. He’s rapidly answered queries and adjusted bookings and always kept us informed and got us through to a confirmed booking in a couple of days. Excellent service!

Christmas in Antarctica It’s Christmas Eve and here we are in Antarctica, having started off in Buenos Aires, followed by the Falkland Islands, and now Christmas and New Year in Antarctica. Grant Bowles has made all this happen, and thanks to his meticulous planning and attention to detail everything has gone to plan. An adventure of this nature would not normally be without some doubts and worries, but we have had none. Grant has made sure of that so if you want your travel plans to work, you need to let Grant sort them. He was professional, thorough, efficient and always jolly when putting our expedition together, and has kept in touch whilst we are away to make sure all is well and that there are no problems. No hesitation in 100% recommending Grant to organise any future trip that you are planning.

I recently had the pleasure of booking our honeymoon through Travel Counsellors, and I cannot recommend them highly enough, particularly our main point of contact, Grant. His prompt responses and attention to detail ensured that we had all the necessary documents well in advance. We spent two wonderful weeks in Thailand, with one week in Phuket and another in Bangkok. The hotels Grant selected for us were nothing short of amazing. He took the time to listen to our preferences and made sure our Phuket hotel was a serene retreat while still offering a plethora of activities and excursions. 50 year Wedding Anniversary to Australia & New Zealand After visiting 2 well known travel agents, we decided to go to Grant at Travel Counsellors whom my daughter has used before for a trip to Florida Disneyworld etc and he was fantastic then, as he has been now for booking our Australia/New Zealand Cruise. He has been very passionate about how he has adapted himself of finding us our dream journey for our 50 years wedding anniversary celebrations for December 2025 and he has been working above and beyond for us to make this reality. We were thinking about treating all our family (children & grandchildren - 15 of us in all) to a cruise in 2026 to celebrate our Golden Wedding. So having previously worked with Grant to find us a cruise to Antarctica and being very happy and confident with what he booked for us, I had no hesitation is setting Grant the challenge of finding us a suitable cruise this time around. We gave him loads of conditions to be met such as a ship that was able to entertain 7 grandchildren aged between 5 & 17, interconnecting cabins for each family, Uk departure & return as we have one family member who will not get on an aeroplane etc. etc. Wow, I did not expect Grant to come back to me within an hour with the perfect solution, and after a few tweeks which Grant was so willing to sort, the holiday was booked. Grant made the whole process so easy, understanding what our needs were, communicating every detail, working on his days off to sort out and answer any queries we had, all in a totally professional yet friendly and jovial way. It is fun to deal with Grant, but at the same time being confident that he knows what he's talking about and does what he says. It is very clear that Grant is using his vast wealth of knowledge of the travel business to work for the client, rather than a cruise line or a company wanting him to meet targets or maximise the final bill. At no time has Grant tried to push us to go for extras that we didn't ask for, he just makes suggestions to create an amazing holiday. Thank you Grant. I just wanted to say a huge huge thank you to Grant for arranging our perfect trip to Crete (our second perfect holiday booked with Grant). I know I was fussy when we booked, HAD to have two bedrooms, HAD to have a swim up pool but not a plunge, had to be all inclusive couldn't be too far from the airport, of course private transfer and sunshine! Well we got absolutely ALL of that and within our budget too. The Gouves Water park hotel was everything we wanted and the staff we incredibly friendly and helpful. A little glitch that you sorted for us immediately meant we didn't lose any relaxing time and fully enjoyed every moment of our wonderful holiday. I know without you being so proactive we may have struggled to get our message across to the lovely staff at the hotel but you sorted it so quickly for us. Thank you so so much again and looking forward to chatting with you soon about the next one!

Last year me and my little family decided we wanted a holiday abroad for this year so called out to grant bowels for some help we gave grant a couple of options of where we would like to go and what we was looking for I.e near to amenities,beach but not on top of everything I thought this maybe near impossible but hey this man worked he's socks off and got us everything plus more than we asked for, if I was unsure of anything or had a question this man was always there if it was a call or email you always had a reply straight away. He always puts himself out to help,we had amazing holiday this year thanks to grant and have to say we were only back a week and yes I was back on to grant to book for next year. Grant booked us a beautiful villa in the Algarve for a family holiday later this year. We were travelling separately with our children and their partners joining us a few days later. Yesterday I found out our son wanted to travel with us. It took Grant a few minutes to change our travel plans to include our son. I contacted him a few days ago to discuss a wish list trip to Antarctica with a visit to the Falkland Islands and a stay in Buenos Aires. We have just returned from a family trip to Egypt organised by the fantastic Grant Bowles. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do and Grant was very patient as we went through lots of options. Once we had decided, Grant took care of organising everything from the flights, hotels, private transfers and organised tours. We travelled to Hurghada and had a two night trip to Luxor, visiting Luxor and Karnak temples and The Valley of the Kings, all organised in advance by Grant. Then we returned to Hurghada to spend some time by the Red Sea. Grant’s communication was brilliant throughout. He even contacted the hotels directly to ensure we could get interconnecting family rooms. The hotels were fantastic and we had a great family trip! Thank you Grant!

Our plans for a holiday in February were delayed because of family issues. Eventually, when you we would be able to go to Goa in early March. A quick call and a couple of hours later Grant had to sort it out a holiday, premium economy seats With all inclusive. Trip of a lifetime Just returned from an epic holiday in Australia for a month. Grant Bowles (Travel Counsellors) supported us throughout out the planning stage, he listened sympathetically as we changed our plans to suit our budget but equally offered his opinion. Consequently we had a marvellous trip meeting all our expectations and beyond. We travelled from Sydney to Ulurou where we stayed for four days exploring this epic site. We then flew to Cairns to collect a campervan then drove down to Brisbane. We flew back to Sydney before returning to the UK. Grant's brilliant. There, I said it. My wife and I are just back from our wedding anniversary break in Florence, which Grant organised for us. Here's two actual examples from this break of what you get from booking with Grant - and the superb care and attention to detail you'll get: 1) Our plane seats, had the best legroom on the plane. Grant arranged this quite deliberately, based on his experience / type of plane used on that particular flight / airline. Wow. 2) He had called ahead and informed the hotel that it was our wedding anniversary, and that as his valued clients, perhaps the hotel could arrange a suitable surprise for us? Well, not only did we get a room upgrade, but there was a bottle of fizz, glasses, and chocolates waiting in our room for us. A lovely, thoughtful surprise, and typical Grant to organise something such as this. Absolute perfect experience Not used a travel counsellors before as I've always been dubious and think I'm good at planning, but with a recommendation by another of Grant Bowles customers we booked a family trip to Mexico through Grant. From the first comms where I explained what we wanted and Grant gave us a variety of options within our budget I knew this guy was more on the ball than myself. We booked a trip and included a snorkeling tour through Grant. I suppose when a trip goes well that's when the good reviews come in but when there is a minor hiccup and Travel Counsellors sorted it so so quickly with much communication and reassurance, that's when you know you can trust who you've booked with. And that's exactly what I feel. I felt so confident that Travel Counsellors and especially Grant really cared for every moment of our Mexican holiday that I could sit back, drink Pina Coladas in the pool and enjoy my private experience with the turtles and stingrays in the ocean. 100% recommend and that's from a fussy DIY holiday booker.

I'm travelling to Italy with a specialist American tour operator. I wanted to arrive a day ahead of my scheduled holiday, but I've been unable to talk to them on the phone for weeks. They told me I couldn't book an additional night by email, and would have to do it over the phone. I turned to Grant asking for a single night in a hotel in the centre of Rome in late April, something that's very hard to book, and he dived in immediately and sorted it out for me in no time at all. I was scared to go in blind with no local knowledge, and Grant warned me there were lots of unsafe hotel websites in Rome. So glad I have Grant to help. He works very hard for his clients.

“Hiya Grant we were so busy yesterday?? drinking cherry slushie in the blue lagoon whilst the sun shone down on us, just what more could I say ?? Every single part of this holiday has literally been wonderful. BA assistance, I didn't know T5 was so huge, I couldn't have managed it without help. The very beginning of the hols I had Ken, the person pushing my chair, in hysterics with my banter, at one point he had to stop and nearly collapsed when I calmly stated I spent most of my 20s legless so I'm used to this ?? The blue lagoon was breath taking and we felt so lucky that the sun was shining. Last night Obeo travel went above and beyond. Couldn't catch the lady's name but it began with R. She actually came into the hotel lobby and chatted with us (yup as Chas and Dave would say I've more rabbit than Sainsbury's) whilst we waited for the mini bus. Obeo are amazing as well. We didn't see the lights but that's ok, we loved being on the adventure and there's always another day. Today we're off to the Saga museum, another highlight. Jon said he'll be taking us so more wisecracks in the car. Thanks again Grant Bowles @ Travel Counsellors. Due to my mobility issues I couldn't have gone on this holiday without all the assistance you arranged and all the knowledge you have of arranging the perfect holiday uniquely suited for each person who books with you I haven't been on a foreign holiday for 8 years, before I became so ill, and so I didn't fully realise how much help I now need. Fantastic experience and holiday! Grant was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! I would highly recommend Grant. He’s exceptional in his knowledge of the travel industry and is very informative when keeping you up to date with all aspects of the booking process. He advises, answers questions and where ever you want to do he tries to fit it in to the schedule. He is a people person, polite and approachable. I haven’t had any problems from start of conversation through to booking and would definitely use him again.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars We can’t thank Grant enough!!!! His service was impeccable from our first desperate contact…. Within a couple of hours he had fixed our honeymoon trip. Not only had he secured exactly what we asked for, he had done so with better (and direct) flights. He kept us informed every step of the way, talked me through the app and just took all of the stress away. Would we recommend him? All day, every day. You get proper service with some added twinkle!

Having decided to rebook we went back to Grant who as always couldn't have been more helpful. He instantly understood exactly what we were looking for and came back very quickly with excellent options and despite our several changes of mind on dates, Grant arranged and rearranged our holiday for us at super quick speed and with a genuine smile. Grant arranged a friends trip to a Greek island. We had a budget and a few specific requirements. Grant was straight on to it hitting our ask first time round. Well what do I say about Grant? He goes that extra mile to make the booking experience seamless. There’s a party of 10 of us off to Ibiza in July for my dad’s 70th birthday and he was so patient and so extremely helpful getting it all sorted. We did have quite a list of requirements! Grant Bowles at travel counsellors has been amazing at arranging our holiday. I had a 'bucket list' holiday dream of going to Iceland but because of my disability didn't think I'd be able to go. Grant went above and beyond to accommodate my every need from special assistance at the airport to seeing the northern lights on a boat trip so that I wouldn't have to stand. He also made arranging the holiday so straightforward and gave us plenty of options. Very highly recommended

Kudos to Grant Bowles. Five stars!! #I wanted to book a surprise holiday for my husband's 60th but firstly I had to wait for his new passport to arrive. Grant was patient and sent through various options to choose from. Finally the passport arrived so I went ahead and booked flights and tours to Iceland. A few days later all the information, flight tickets, tour vouchers, even luggage labels arrived. The day of my husband's birthday arrived and I could finally tell him what I'd booked and we started looking forward to our first trip in over 2 years. Then the day before we were due to travel (a Sunday too), we took the decision not to travel due to illness and ever-changing covid travel rules. Grant worked all day to move our trip to next year, liaising with the suppliers to minimise any extra costs and did a fantastic job. He completely took away the stress and anxiety for me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grant and I will use his services again. Thanks Grant, enjoy your fizz!

Grant Bowles - exceptional services! Booking accommodation from overseas (Australia) is always daunting especially if it is for a large family group for a wedding! 5 stars: Excellent An hour ago SIMPLY THE BEST Well what can I say about Grant? Grant is simply the best travel consultant I have ever dealt with. Due to my Las Vegas holiday being cancelled in September for 11 of us I decided to rebook with BA but the cost had increased by a staggering 10K more. I went to Grant who has got me and my husband and 9 family members a holiday in LV. He was professional and his expertise shone out and he kept me updated with telephone calls and this only took him 1 day to get us a holiday. Grant Bowles went above and beyond to provide us with options once our Caribbean cruise had been cancelled for the second time. He offered us a number of options, nothing was too much trouble and his obvious desire to help us was really reassuring.
