Thank you for visiting my page. Let me introduce myself. I have worked in travel for over 36 years. I used to manage a local high street agency and I have also taught travel part-time at the Isle of Wight College.

I have been fortunate to visit many countries including New Zealand, Australia, Peru, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Argentina, Brazil, Thailand, North America and Canada plus a host of destinations closer to home.

It is hard to pick my favourite destination because there are so many. All countries offer their own history, diversity and culture which is what makes travel so enriching. Each trip becomes a personal discovery. Some of my most memorable experiences include visiting Machu Picchu in Peru where I climbed Huayna Picchu (Young Mountain); another includes taking a jet-boat ride on the Shotover River and a balloon flight over the Canterbury Plains during a visit to South Island in New Zealand. Similarly, witnessing the dramatic Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian/Argentine border by helicopter rates equally as memorable.

During my career, I have seen many changes within the travel industry and as an agent, it is important to adapt to these changes. In 2015 I joined Travel Counsellors to offer a more bespoke, flexible service and to be part of a network of travel professionals, where customer service is a core value.

Not only am I passionate about my job I am dedicated to it. I enjoy doing the research to give my clients competitive options with reliable suppliers coupled with a more personal service. A holiday, after all, is often a considered purchase and it is important to know it is in safe hands.
