How I Plan And Care For Your Holiday, Every Step Of The Way
My aim is to support you from our very first conversation right through to the moment you arrive back home.
Getting to know you
Getting to know you
I always start by talking in detail about the people travelling: the travel party, likes and dislikes, routines, and any specific needs or worries. This helps me design a trip that feels comfortable, enjoyable and manageable for everyone, rather than a one‑size‑fits‑all package.
Once we have this information, we work together to choose the option that feels right for you.
Planning the journey
After we have confirmed your trip, I am on hand for any questions or concerns that may arise. This can include local information, suggested days out, and key points of interest that match your needs and preferences.
Where helpful, I will also inform the hotel and any ground staff so they are better prepared to support you on arrival and throughout your stay.
The aim is to reduce uncertainty and make each step feel as predictable and stress‑free as possible.
Ongoing support and communication
I am available by WhatsApp, email or phone if you have any questions or worries at any stage. I know that holidays can feel overwhelming as well as exciting, so I am here to answer “small” questions as well as big ones, and to help you feel as prepared as possible. Holidays should be about making memories, not managing stress.
As we get closer to your departure date, I will:
- Check the latest FCDO guidance for your destination
- Make sure passport and API details are in place
- Take care of checking in where possible
- Prepare and print (or digitally organise) your travel documents
A day or two before travel, I will reconfirm all arrangements and check that everyone is comfortable with the plan.
While you are away
On the day of departure, I monitor flights, help with any last‑minute questions, and make sure everything is running as smoothly as possible.
While you are away, I usually check in by WhatsApp to see how things are going and to share any useful updates, such as welcome meeting details, local tips, or transfer pick‑up times. If anything needs adjusting, I am here to help arrange that for you.
Coming home and looking ahead
For your return journey, I once again keep an eye on flight times and, if needed, help adjust transfers or arrangements so that any disruption is kept to a minimum. If there are cancellations or unexpected issues, I work in the background to resolve things and support you, so that the impact on your plans is as small as possible.
Once you are home, I like to check in, hear how everything went, and understand what worked particularly well. This feedback helps me shape future trips for you and for other travellers who might benefit from a similar style of support.
If you would like to chat about how I can support you or someone you care about with their next trip, you are very welcome to get in touch.
