Hello there. I’m Jo, an independent travel professional based in Didsbury, South Manchester, and I've been helping customers with their many and varied travel plans since I launched my Travel Counsellors business back in 2015. I am proud to have retained my Gold Status at Travel Counsellors for the last 8 years, and to be recongnised in the top 5% of TCs globally.
I pride myself on being able to get the bottom of what customers are really looking for from a holiday; in understanding their motivations and on delivering great service. I find the personal approach works wonders in getting to the heart of what my customers really want, and I love to talk things through with my clients. I enjoy a very high level of repeat business (over 80%) and my business has grown enormously over the years, almost exclusively from word of mouth recommendations (you won't find me on Instagram or posting offers on facebook).
I’ve always (since 1998) adored working in this wonderful industry and I live and breathe travel. My most recent long haul adventures been to Namibia, South Africa, Costa Rica, Maurituis and Thailand. Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to have lived in France and Spain, and holidayed in (to name but a few) Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Croatia, Morocco, Malta, Portugal, Montenegro, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, Holland, Lithuania, Maldives, Mexico, Bali, Kenya and Tanzania. I was also lucky enough in the 2010s to spend three long and memorable summers with my young family travelling round Canada, USA and Brazil respectively. I’m a keen skier too, and I’ve matched many happy skiers with their perfect resorts in Europe, Canada, USA and Japan.
