Why I Fell in Love with Sandals Saint Vincent (And Who I’d Book It For)
I’ve been to a lot of resorts as a travel advisor—but every once in a while, one just hits differently. Sandals Saint Vincent was that for me. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this wasn’t going to be your typical Caribbean all-inclusive. It felt quieter, more untouched… almost like we had discovered somewhere we weren’t supposed to know about yet.
Arrival Day: “Okay… this is special.”
As we drove through the lush mountains and pulled into the resort, I immediately thought: “Yep… worth it.” The setting is stunning. Not flat, not overly developed—just dramatic greenery, tucked-away villas, and a peaceful cove that makes you instantly slow down.
That first night we had dinner at Sora, and it set the tone right away. Beautiful atmosphere, really good food, and that “we’re on vacation” feeling kicked in fast. We also experienced some of the evening entertainment which was Caribbean music and dancing - a few dark and stormy cocktails it was brillant!
Day 2: Seeing It Through My Clients’ Eyes
This was the day I really started looking at everything through my “who would I book here?” lens. We had the Sandals presentation, toured the entire resort, and I kept thinking about different clients the whole time.
The rooms felt fresh and modern, but still warm—not overly sleek or cold. And the layout of the resort gives you space to breathe, which I loved.
We tried the jerk shack for lunch was amazing!
We also had a pre dinner, dinner! at Gatsu Gatsu - the best sushi resturant - the food was incredible.
Dinner that night was at Buccan, and it was such a fun vibe—Caribbean-inspired, a little more energy, but still not over-the-top.
Day 3: The Day I Knew I’d Be Selling This Resort
This was my favorite day—hands down. We did the Tobago Cays catamaran cruise and snorkeling, and this is the moment where I thought: “This is what my clients are dreaming about.” The water was that unreal shade of turquoise. We saw sea turtles. The whole experience just felt easy and beautiful. Honestly it was ahuge highlight of my trip.
That night we had dinner at Scrimshaw, which felt a little more elevated and relaxed. finished the day off with a few spicy Margaritas.
Day 4: Not Ready to Leave
By the last morning, I felt like I had really settled into the pace of the resort—and honestly, I wasn’t ready to go! The trip was short and sweet but so so worth it.
Who I’d Actually Book Here
Perfect for couples wanting peace, honeymooners, and repeat Sandals guests looking for something different.
Not ideal for those wanting nightlife, easy transfers, or lots of off-resort exploring.
Final Thoughts If you want something quiet, beautiful, and truly relaxing—this might be your place.
