I am a personal Travel Counsellor based in Beaconsfield where I've lived with my husband, and Percy our Border Terrier for the last 6 years. After falling in love with Beaconsfield when we first visited we are now very happy to call it home.
I have always been passionate about travel so I feel very lucky to have been able to turn my passion into a career. I have been in the travel industry now for 12+ years specialising in creating incredible tailor-made adventures for my clients. Whether you are looking for a quick city break in Europe, a luxury safari in South Africa, a romantic honeymoon in the Maldives, an action packed overland trip across Asia, an exotic beach holiday or a twelve month round the world adventure I can create the perfect bespoke escape for you using my own travel expertise and extensive destination knowledge. I am a certified Australia and New Zealand specialist, an expert in overland travel in Asia, Africa and South America and I have attended a travel academy in South Africa.
My love of travel became a passion when I first took a gap year and travelled via Asia to both Australia and New Zealand. After this I had well and truly caught the travel bug and have now been lucky enough to experience over 60 countries and counting – everywhere from Jordan to the Cook Islands. I’m often asked which destination has been my favourite but it’s too hard to choose so here are my top 5 stand out moments so far:
Paragliding over Rio de Janeiro, exploring beautiful walking trails in Canada, snorkelling with tropical fish on coral reefs in the Maldives, hiking on the Fox Glacier in New Zealand, and spotting tigers in Ranthambore National Park, India.

Having decided to do the Camino de Santiago for my birthday, my next thought was Jodie! I had a very clear and precise picture of what I wanted, very specific, and just knew Jodie would be up for the challenge.
True to form, Jodie planned our trip to perfection, everything went like clockwork. All we had to do was turn up at the airport and do the walk! Boarding passes, Airport transfers, accommodation (7 different places along the route) baggage transfers to each place we stayed, everything planned and executed perfectly.

Jodie is a superstar & worked hard at very short notice to reschedule our holiday. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to move the dates of our trip 3 days before we were due to fly which was upsetting, frustrating & stressful. Jodie took care of everything & worked tirelessly behind the scenes to sort things out. She took the stress of the travel away from us so we could focus on other matters, kept us in the loop the entire time, provided options & all while she was attending a conference & preparing for a trip of her own. Oh my goodness. The day before we were due to travel, eldest son arrived home from uni with an expired passport. With less than 24 hours to go, Jodie had to rearrange the whole trip to take place a week later. She did so with humour, just got on with it. Nothing was too much trouble. She remained totally calm and together - which is more than can be said for me! A wonderful find, I can't imagine asking anyone else to arrange our trips away.

This was my first time using Travel Counsellors and it certainly won't be the last. Jodie has been nothing short of excellent right from our first point of contact. We came to her with several ideas for our Honeymoon trip and she came back with a highly detailed 2-week itinerary for all of them., neatly broken down in PDF documents with descriptions of activities/ accommodation/ T&Cs, and pricing. It really helped us narrow down what we wanted based on cost and logistics. She went above and beyond to give us a full picture of current and likely future Covid travel restrictions in the destinations we were interested in – which I imagine took up a lot of her time. Jodie was incredibly thorough and swift in her response time and I always looked forward to seeing what she came back with each time we suggested a change. On that note she was also very patient! We must have gone through 3 or 4 rounds of changes before we finally settled on the itinerary we wanted – from flights and accommodation to the destination itself and dates of travel. Everything was super clear and we are confident that our money is fully ATOL protected should anything prevent us from being able to travel. We are now SO excited for our trip: two weeks in Tanzania, from the Serengeti to Zanzibar – a dream trip that we absolutely cannot wait for. Thank you Jodie!

Jodie has been a complete star researching and organising a family trip to Disneyland Paris for us. As first-timers, Disneyland seemed a bit of a minefield, with so many different options for accommodation and meal packages - plus we wanted to add on some time in Paris city centre too. Jodie was great with helping me book my trip! Nothing was too much and she was great when it came to thinking about the details!
