Jodie made the whole process so easy. I contacted her with brief ideas for a last minute trip away and within 24 hours we had the perfect trip planned. Jodie was responsive and efficient, covering off all the admin at lightning speed. Having decided to do the Camino de Santiago for my birthday, my next thought was Jodie! I had a very clear and precise picture of what I wanted, very specific, and just knew Jodie would be up for the challenge. True to form, Jodie planned our trip to perfection, everything went like clockwork. All we had to do was turn up at the airport and do the walk! Boarding passes, Airport transfers, accommodation (7 different places along the route) baggage transfers to each place we stayed, everything planned and executed perfectly. My friend Cheryl first suggested I speak to Jodie as my husband and I weren't sure how to go about booking a cruise and what would be best for us. Oh my goodness. The day before we were due to travel, eldest son arrived home from uni with an expired passport. With less than 24 hours to go, Jodie had to rearrange the whole trip to take place a week later. She did so with humour, just got on with it. Nothing was too much trouble. She remained totally calm and together - which is more than can be said for me! A wonderful find, I can't imagine asking anyone else to arrange our trips away.

This was my first time using Travel Counsellors and it certainly won't be the last. Jodie has been nothing short of excellent right from our first point of contact. We came to her with several ideas for our Honeymoon trip and she came back with a highly detailed 2-week itinerary for all of them., neatly broken down in PDF documents with descriptions of activities/ accommodation/ T&Cs, and pricing. It really helped us narrow down what we wanted based on cost and logistics. She went above and beyond to give us a full picture of current and likely future Covid travel restrictions in the destinations we were interested in – which I imagine took up a lot of her time. Jodie was incredibly thorough and swift in her response time and I always looked forward to seeing what she came back with each time we suggested a change. On that note she was also very patient! We must have gone through 3 or 4 rounds of changes before we finally settled on the itinerary we wanted – from flights and accommodation to the destination itself and dates of travel. Everything was super clear and we are confident that our money is fully ATOL protected should anything prevent us from being able to travel. We are now SO excited for our trip: two weeks in Tanzania, from the Serengeti to Zanzibar – a dream trip that we absolutely cannot wait for. Thank you Jodie!
