My name is Karen Whittle and I am an independent travel agent based in Astley near Manchester. I have been in the travel industry since leaving school aged 16 – meaning I have over 30 years' experience.
I have worked for Travel Counsellors for 22 years initially in the Atherton Travel Agency then moving to their Head Office in Bolton looking after the company’s VIP customers.
I specialised in upmarket tailor made holidays including round the world itineraries, five and six star cruising, exclusive villas, yachts and private jets; but with vast experience I can offer travel advice on any kind of holiday.
Nine years ago I started to run my own business with Travel Counsellors from home which gives me time to offer my customers an even more personal and exclusive service – and means I can be contacted at a time to suit you.
As your own personal Travel Counsellor I can use our award winning technology and my personal expertise to tailor make exactly the right holiday to suit your needs. I can quickly search through hundreds of different flight, accommodation and transfer alternatives to find your perfect holiday. This often means I can build you a bespoke holiday at a cheaper price than the standard holiday package you might get elsewhere.
During my long career in travel I have been very fortunate in having travelled all over the world both for business and pleasure travelling to destinations including most of Europe, the Caribbean, the Maldives, South Africa, Dubai but to name a few. I have also been on lots of different cruises.
I can help arrange any part of your travel arrangements – so whether you just need a flight only, a last minute holiday or something special I can help. As part of a large organisation I can also get you great deals on accommodation so if you need to know the best hotel in Paris for a last minute holiday to France or the best Dubai hotels for a luxurious weekend in the sun please contact me. Of course I can also help with any other travel arrangements you may have, including car rental and holiday insurance.
My business is based purely on providing my customers with the highest possible levels of personal service and I would be delighted to assist you with your future holiday plans.
