“"Hello Lucy. At last I am writing to you to thank you again for organising our holiday to Mauritius. It was a lovely restful holiday. The hotel was very good and the sea was excellent as there was a coral reef round most of the island so it was very shallow, calm and clear. Lovely to swim in. Below is a photo of the view from our balcony if you stood on it and looked right... As we got to know the layout of the hotel we realised that we were at the quietest and nicest end of the hotel, which suited us fine and we were glad that we were located there . Very spacious and comfortable room. The hotel was a long hotel, with almost everything being beachfront. At the centre was the restaurant, pools, bars and reception of course. Then moving on to the other end you had the beach bar, beach restaurant, water facilities and spa, so that was the busier end .

The main restaurant was excellent for breakfast and we had lunch at the beach restaurant and then most evenings we had booked at the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Excellent food, although the menu didn't change much! It was nice having a more comfortable flight with the entertainment with decent food and the change at Dubai both ways was very easy. The private airport transfers were also excellent and the company came out to see us the day after arrival and we booked several tours with them. One was a group tour which seemed to have lots of other holiday makers on as well (not so enjoyable for us), so we did a couple of tours with our own private driver, which worked really well as they gave us a history of the Island and were very informative and gave us a chance to see more of the island at our own pace. The temperature was between 24 and 28° but with a breeze and some cloud, all the while it was perfect and really comfortable.””
