Hi, my name is Lynne Jordan and I am a Travel Counsellor based in Great Harwood which is near Blackburn in Lancashire. I am originally from Preston and moved to East Lancashire in the late 80s. I love living in the countryside as it enables me to indulge in my passion for horses, I own a Roscoe a Highland Pony and I go out competing at shows up and down the country regularly. I have no children which gives me time to indulge in my other passion which it travelling worldwide!
Before becoming a Travel Counsellor I spent over 30 years in the travel industry in a variety of roles for several well known travel companies, airlines and agents. I have been privileged to travel the world and visit some of the top destinations and hotels. I have especially enjoyed visiting numerous Caribbean islands as well as America and the Far East. If you prefer to stay closer to home, Spain and the Balearic’s as well as Turkey and the Greek Islands are all places I have made regular visits to both for work and pleasure. I have also experienced a number of cruises, something a lot of people are now enjoying as an alternative to the regular two week resort stay.
As your personal Travel Counsellor I am here to help select and plan your perfect dream holiday or break and unlike high street agencies or impersonal on line websites, I can do this at a time to suit you either by phone, email at my home office or if you prefer and are local in your or home or a suitable meeting place. Nothing is too much trouble.
Being a Travel Counsellor means I can be flexible so that I can be here for my customers when they need me. Because I work from home (which I love) I can be in the office when its suits me and my customers best, before work, evenings, weekends etc.
The best thing about being a Travel Counsellor is hearing back from my customers on what a great holiday they have had. I love the satisfaction and pride this gives me. Lynne provided a great service to our family in our visit to New York
She put together a great package where the hotel couldn’t have been any more convenient and the staff were friendly and efficient
The flights were at a great time and our booking arrangements were taken care of and the passage through booking in was seamless
Lynne kept in touch with us whilst we were waiting to go and kept us advised of all the necessary arrangements we needed to make to ensure we arrived in America unheeded
The hotel knew when we were arriving and our room was very comfortable and in a nice place

We’ve previously booked with Lynne for a 3 week trip to Thailand in 2019, and then a break to St Lucia in 2021 which didn’t go ahead for obvious reasons.
Lynne has always provided us with lots of options and catered for our budget and interests, so we had no doubt of using her again when booking our trip to California this year.
Lynne recommended locations and places to visit, and dealt with everything from flights, hotels, transfers, and our car hire for the road trip down the West Coast.
We had the best time in California and it was all thanks to Lynne. She has tonnes of knowledge on places to visit, the best hotels to stay in, and our trip went seamlessly without fault. Lynne even sent us a little travel book with loads of information on California ahead of our trip which we found really useful.

Lynne was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to recommend accommodation, locations and excursions from personal experience and was able to tailor our holiday to meet our budget, wants and needs. This was our first experience of working with a Travel Counsellor. Lynne has been excellent all the way through the process. Once we had told her what we were looking for she pulled out all the stops. We are REALLY looking forward to the cruise ( although we have to wait 12 months), it is for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. This will be our first cruise. Lynne was friendly, patient (guiding us through all the options), plus her after sales commitment has been exemplary.
