Hi, my name is Mark and I’m a Travel Counsellor. Welcome to my homepage.

I’ve been working in the travel industry for 30 years in a number of different positions and love to travel as much as I can myself. My aim is to help you have the holiday of a lifetime working on a tailored holiday, looking at your requirements, travel plans and keeping it within your budget. If you prefer I can also book standard holidays with all the major travel companies too.

I’m here to make the whole process as smooth and seamless as possible as it’s known that travel can be one of the most stressfully beautiful things in life. Whether you’re looking to have a short weekend break or an epic around the world holiday of a lifetime I’m here to help make your dreams come true.

Be it trains, planes or automobiles, cruising in the Mediterranean or a river boat up the Nile, car hire or a ride on a camel around the pyramids it’s all part of my blank canvas to work with you to give you the holiday you require. If you’re planning a group trip away I can arrange local guides through our worldwide network of staff and contacts to help support your plans to help make everything slip in to place.

If you’re traveling for work we can tweak it to get the best offers and give you the best chance to rest during your time away from home. I will aim to support you and make sure your trip runs as smoothly as possible.

If you're planning a wedding abroad or honeymoon, just sit back and leave it all to me and enjoy your special day. I can assist with booking all your guests for you, saving the problems of people staying all over the place and of course, there’s the hen and stag party too.

My sister and I wanted a trip away for Christmas somewhere with sun and the odd beach to relax on. Without a doubt Mark was fantastic!! With his ability to look into places which would fit with our budget. We soon agreed on a tour of Sri Lanka where Mark dealt with our flights and all the information we needed for the trip. A phenomenal two weeks later and we landed back in the UK refreshed from the Sri Lankan sun with the odd sunburn, but stress free with our flights and everything dealt with by Mark. An amazing trip and I would hugely recommend Sri Lanka and the help and ease that Mark provides so thank you!!

I recently booked a trip to the States with Mark who made the whole process quick and easy. He sent me a quote which was great but I then noticed I had given him the wrong dates. Nothing was too much trouble and as soon as I gave him the correct dates I got a new quote again. Mark was able to check me in my flights and so this made the whole process simple and easy. I had a great time and had an internal flight during my stay and again no problems. I would recommend using Mark to anyone as he is good at his job and efficient.

I met Mark and discussed my requirements for a short holiday to Barcelona. He was able to offer me a good deal which was great. We had a lovely time but had a slight problem with the pickup taxis service going back to the airport home. Mark dealt with the problem with no issue and was able to rectify the matter at once on my return. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark from Travel Counsellors.

I recently contacted Mark from Travel Counsellors, regarding booking a honeymoon for me and my now wife Karen. Mark asked me what sort of budget I have in mind and we told him. With what probably wasn’t much for a honeymoon budget as weddings can be expensive, he came back to us with 10 nights in Thailand, I was very surprised for that sort of budget. Mark was not only helpful with finding the holiday and sorting everything out but he was also there every step of the way making contact with us to make sure everything was going O.K. at one stage he was texting us on WhatsApp and it must have been about 3am British time, so either he suffers from insomnia or this is great customer service. The holiday was fantastic and the staff in the hotel couldn’t do enough for us, the food in the hotel was great and the room was very impressive too. Thanks again Mark for sorting us out a very memorably honeymoon. We will highly recommend Mark of Travel Counsellors.

I found the whole experience to be extremely easy booking with Mark. I told Mark the requirements that I wanted and he responded and even went above and beyond to stay within budget, the arrangements and tours that we had Pre booked went very smoothly with pick ups from the hotel, even down to the pre booked return transport to the airport Overall I found using Mark to be a very pleasant transaction and I am happy to use him again.

I met Mark and immediately appreciated his friendly and genuine nature. He advised us that he would endeavour to get us a better deal on our holiday. He managed to beat the deal we had found and assured us that it was because it was a really good value deal at a good looking hotel. He then spoke to the hotel and researched the available activities for us. The holiday was very good, from the range/quality of food to the cleanliness of the rooms. Mark messaged me to remind me to check in for our flights in both directions and although not needed I am confident he would have helped us sort out any travel issue while abroad. We will definitely be speaking to Mark before booking our next holiday.
