The food offering at Vila Vita Parc goes well beyond what you'd expect from a resort of this size. Ocean, the signature restaurant, holds two Michelin stars and serves some of the finest food in Portugal - ocean views included. Adega handles traditional Portuguese cuisine alongside fado and guitar music by the lake, while Mizu Teppanyaki and Giardino cover Japanese and Italian respectively.
The Algarve coastline around Porches is quieter and more interesting than the resort towns further east. Tremoços Beach sits directly below the cliff, while the resort shuttle runs to the Armação de Pêra Beach Club and Salgados Beach, flanked by sand dunes a few miles away. The sea caves and grottos along this stretch of coast are best seen from the water - the resort has three private yachts available for charter, and a half-day sailing trip along the cliffs and through the caves is not to be missed.
The Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris is one of the more impressive wellness facilities in the Algarve - 12 treatment rooms, aerial yoga, a Turkish bath, sauna, ice grotto, and plunge pool, all designed around the sea caves of the region. The wider resort keeps things active too, with Padel and pickleball courts, an 18-hole putting green, Pilates, aqua fitness classes, and personal training available.
