It's Nice To Meet You

‘’Hello I'm Richard and I'd love to be your Travel Concierge.

Where would you like to go? Whether it is a cruise, beach, ski or an experiential trip you've always wanted to do I am here to help you before during and after to make sure you have the best experience.

I can speak to you at a time that suits you best or alternatively I can meet you in person to discuss your previous and future travel plans.

We’re a family business - my wife Hayley is my assistant, she also owns and manages a bridal store in Harrogate called The Harrogate Wedding Lounge. Hayley has extensive travel experience having worked for over ten years as a high street travel agent.

My Favourite Travel Experiences:

Royal Caribbean Eurovision Cruise. An amazing weekend was had and the kids didn't want to leave
Maui, Hawaii. We took our then ten month old for our tenth wedding anniversary.
Yosemite National Park. ''Takes your breath away'' is something I had heard all my life and didn't experience it fully till seeing the view of El Capitan.
Highway 1. I drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles in an automatic car having only passed my test four months before and never having driven an automatic till San Fran.
Malaysia. Honeymoon destination visiting the capital Kuala Lumpor and Langkawi a small island just off.
Greece, Halkidiki. Sani and Ikos resorts are a family favourite and many great memories have been made there.

My own personal travel tip? - Treat yourself to a private transfer to your holiday! Not only do you get to your hotel on arrival quicker you also get more time before the pick up to come home.

As a Travel Counsellor I'm truly independent. I can choose from thousands of providers to give you the best choice of holidays rather than what I'm paid to sell.

Whenever I told anyone I was becoming a Travel Counsellor they said it made sense due to my passion for travel and great service. I've been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively around the world, making memories with my wife Hayley and with my young family, and now I want to bring that experience to you, my clients.

Have just returned from an amazing holiday booked through Richard. Tailoring the holiday to my specific needs and organising everything from the hotel booking, flights, airport transfers and day trips out the level of customer service was exceptional. Communication was very impressive and any questions I had ( and there were many ! ) were responded to in a timely fashion. If you want a stress free way to book a holiday and also the peace of mind knowing someone cares just as much as you do about creating your special holiday moments then I can highly recommend Richard.

Working with Rich is a no brainer! Not only does he carefully select the best options for travel and accommodations, but he goes above and beyond and then beyond that! Rich made sure that every detail was perfect. Even when the inevitable hiccups (plane delays, transfer delays) occurred, Rich was there to hold my hand through it and made the very best efforts to remedy them (even though it was through no fault of his own). As a single woman traveling alone internationally, having his support was beyond necessary. Highly, highly recommend!

Richard could not have been more helpful, he found me the perfect holiday for me and my little one, within budget and all our requirements (board type, water slides, short transfer time) his suggestion of doing fast track at the airport was amazing and a must especially when travelling with kids. He sorted our day trip to a water park emailing our tickets and confirming our pick up for the transfer back aswell. Everything from start to finish of the process was easy and professional. Richard was always on hand both before and during our holiday and put my mind at ease at every step.

I’ve just returned from a wonderful trip organised by Richard. I would highly recommend his service for anyone looking to book travel. Every detail was thought of… From booking us great seats on the plane, an excellent room at the hotel and all private transport arranged. Richard took care of all the paperwork and it was conveniently uploaded to the app. It’s clear that Richard really cares about what he does and checked in with us to ensure everything was going well. The whole trip was smooth sailing and stress free. An excellent service.
