VIVA LAS VEGAS

From the moment we landed and were greeted by a crisp glass of Champagne on our stretch limousine hotel transfer, I knew we were in for a fantastic week of fun and luxury!

We arrived at the amazing Mirage hotel on the buzzing Las Vegas strip. After a speedy check-in and a quick unpack and freshen up, we sauntered out on to the strip to explore, which was fast transforming into a dazzling neon paradise.

The primary purpose of our trip was a wedding-vow renewal for me and my husband, at the Little White Chapel. It exceeded our expectations and really was a dream come true! The icing on the cake was continuing the celebrations with a group meal at the 'Top of the World' restaurant at the Stratosphere Hotel. The food was mouth - watering, the service impeccable, and the setting could not have been better - what a magnificent view over the strip!

Despite the wedding being the main reason for the trip, we managed to fit so much more! There really was something to fill every minute of the day for everyone in our group, from my teenage daughters, right up to my OAP parents.

You will no doubt have heard that the hotels in Las Vegas are out of this world, and that cannot be more true! Ours had a huge Lagoon - like tropical pool , a party pool , where we celebrated one of my daughters 21st Birthdays in VIP style on a private area with waitress service . Fresh fluffy towels were replaced throughout the day, with cool mist fans and we even had our own fridge.

Our hotel also had a fabulous casino, where we spent many an evening trying our luck! There was a full sized theatre showing a Beatles version of the famous Cirque-De Soleil. There was a zoo with beautiful dolphins and white tigers, and to top it all, a huge exploding volcano (fake of course) at the front of our hotel!

Each hotel offers equally amazing activities for you to enjoy. Some of the ones we got involved in included a CSI Experience at the MGM Grand, Gondola rides at the Venetian, shopping in Ceasers Palace, and watching the breath-taking fountain shows at the Bellagio.

I can honestly say that whatever activities you enjoy, you will find lots to occupy you and your family in Las Vegas. For me it is the perfect holiday destination and I can’t wait to return. If you’re considering a trip to this amazing city just get in touch and I’ll give you some tips and advice!
