Dubai: A Destination for Every Traveler Dubai is a city I’ve visited many times, whether as a stopover on the way to other destinations or as a single holiday destination. Recently, I spent six sun-soaked days in this vibrant city, staying at the iconic Atlantis, The Palm, and getting an exclusive look at the brand-new Atlantis The Royal. With complimentary access to the waterpark, The Lost Chambers Aquarium, kids' clubs, and entertainment areas, you’ll never run out of things to do. Whether you’re looking for excitement or relaxation, the vast pool areas, variety of restaurants, and quiet spots ensure everyone is catered to. And of course, swimming with dolphins and other bucket list activities are available on-site. Staying in Club Level granted us access to the Imperial Club Lounge, where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapés, and premium drinks. The private check-in, concierge service, snacks throughout the day, and a space to escape the midday heat added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. We also loved the private beach area, which offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. From the moment we pulled up, we were blown away. The foyer, filled with elite cars, set the tone for the opulence that awaited us. Walking into the hotel, we were immediately awed by the stunning architecture, bright open spaces, and pure serenity. With the first Louis Vuitton store inside a hotel, the exclusivity is palpable. We were fortunate to tour this magnificent hotel, from the charming Little Venice Cake Company to the Royal Suite, famously occupied by J.Lo during the launch. This suite was absolutely breathtaking. Atlantis The Royal boasts 90 pools, 17 restaurants, a beach club, high-end shopping, a state-of-the-art gym, and a luxurious spa offering holistic and regenerative treatments. The adult-only infinity pool with stunning views is an Instagrammer’s dream. #Cloud 22 an adult-only infinity pool designed by Dolce & Gabbana, offers private rooms, VIP areas, and additional private pool areas. The 90-foot infinity pool connects the two architectural towers and is open to outside guests for a fee. This area is seriously cool. #Dining Like Royalty With 17 restaurants, including the first Nobu by the Sea, dining at Atlantis The Royal is an unforgettable experience. We dined at Gastronomy, a 17-cooking-station buffet that’s anything but ordinary. The food was outstanding, offering a variety of cuisines and even a dedicated cheese room. Be prepared to take your time, as this is also the breakfast area, and you won’t want to rush. They’ll even design a coffee pod to your exact taste for you to take back to your room. This is a food lover’s paradise, where your palate can travel the world through an array of flavors. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar section felt like something out of Willy Wonka’s factory. After dinner, we sipped cocktails in the outdoor lounge while watching the Fire and Water fountain show—a first of its kind. The outdoor area by the fountain display, lined with restaurants, offers the perfect spot to relax and recharge. **Pro tip:** Download a copy of your passport to your phone and ask for a tax receipt when you meet the minimum spend. ### Family Adventures in Jamaica: Memories from April and February Jamaica has always been a special destination for our family, especially when our kids were young. We've had the pleasure of experiencing this vibrant island in both April and February, staying at the luxurious Beaches Resorts in Negril and Ocho Rios. Here's a look back at some of our favourite memories. As a family of 4 looking to entertain 2 small children as well as being Adults and enjoying some grown up dinners, Beeches was the perfect answer. We have been to both sides of Jamaica. One trip was a 2 centre trip with Florida and the next 10 days of pure holiday bliss. #### Ultra All-Inclusive Bliss Our stays at Beaches Resorts were nothing short of spectacular. These ultra all-inclusive resorts provided everything we needed for a perfect family vacation. From beautiful beachfront accommodations to a variety of dining options, we felt pampered every step of the way. The kids loved the endless activities, and we appreciated the peace of mind that came with an all-inclusive package. The all inclusive package is high end with amazing food, Premium drinks, fantastic kids facilities as well as diving included and water sports. #### Negril: Laid-Back Vibes and Adventure Negril's Seven Mile Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. The soft white sand and clear blue waters were perfect for swimming and sunbathing. One of our most exciting outings was to Rick’s Café. The kids were thrilled to watch the cliff divers, and my husband even took a leap himself. The atmosphere at Rick's was lively and fun, with stunning views of the sunset over the ocean. #### Ocho Rios: Nature and Thrills Ocho Rios offered a mix of adventure and natural beauty. We spent a day at Dunn’s River Falls, which was a big hit with the whole family. Climbing the falls and splashing in the cool water was an unforgettable experience. My husband, an avid diver, took advantage of the excellent diving spots in the area. He came back each time with amazing stories and photos of the underwater world. #### Delicious Food and Rich Culture One of the highlights of our trips was the incredible food. From jerk chicken to fresh seafood, we savoured every meal. The kids developed a taste for Jamaican patties and plantains, while my husband and I enjoyed the local rum. Beyond the food, we immersed ourselves in the rich culture. The music, the vibrant markets, and the friendly people made our stays even more special. Sailing on the Disney Cruise Line, we experienced the magic of the high seas combined with the legendary hospitality of Disney. A honeymoon should create a love story On the 24th-04-2024 I celebrated 24 years of marriage with my husband, reminiscing about our unforgettable honeymoon brought back a flood of cherished memories.
