Hi… I’m Wayne and I have been in the travel industry now for over 40 years. The last 30 years, I have been selling cruises… a great passion of mine from when I was a young boy. I have cruised and travelled extensively as you’ll see. I am married to Pam and we have two gorgeous daughters, both married to wonderful boys… four adorable grandsons, two courtesy of each daughter, and a beautiful granddaughter too. Nearly forgot.. we have a cheeky little dog as well.
I have seen so many places on my cruise travels and many who know me have caught the bug too. Some of the more memorable trips have been a QE2 Transatlantic crossing, Fred Olsen’s Black Watch Amazon, Silversea’s Silver Cloud Red Sea, Crystal Serenity’s Caribbean, Regent Navigator’s New York and Bermuda, Holland America’s Maasdam Panama Canal, APT ‘s AmaBella Danube… and numerous other trips to the Baltic, Fjords, Spitsbergen, Mediterranean, South Africa, Far East and more.
I live in Manchester and have worked from home for many years now. You cannot cruise and travel as much as I do without building up an extensive and varied knowledge base of all the sights, sites (yes, a little bit of a tongue twister), and places I’ve visited on my travels. I get excited at the thought of sharing my first-hand knowledge and experiences with people I talk to. I am no “tick box” traveller. To me, every single trip is full of the memories we create from them.
I have to confess that my evenings out with friends invariably end up in us talking travel and I love hearing as much about their experiences as they do about mine. What free time I have I love being with family, reading, listening to relaxing music or walking our dog.
Cruising remains my passion, as you will realise when you speak to me. If it’s cruising, cruises, cruise ships, cruise destinations…. in fact, just about anything cruise related, then get in touch with me.

We started using Wayne in 2018 on advice from people we met and made friends with, on a Silversea cruise, and had excellent advice from him. We lost touch when he moved and were determined to find him again when we started booking our first cruise after Covid. We are extremely pleased with his help and he has eased the booking as usual.

This is the first time I have used a travel counsellor since booking my own holidays. It seemed so much easier to tell Wayne everything that we wanted in the holiday, and to let him do the rest. Wayne managed to get us a considerable saving on our holiday, which we were particularly pleased with. We will definitely use Wayne again for our future holidays.

I have been dealing with Wayne since 2008 when he arranged my first Silversea cruise for my wife and myself. Since then, there have been 30 other cruises, and all arranged efficiently, and with no problems when the voyage comes around. My wife and I have been dealing with Wayne for more than 15 years. He has booked many enjoyable cruises for us with Silversea, Regent, Crystal and Seabourn. His attention to detail is meticulous, and occasionally, when problems arise, he is always quick to help. Due to accident or illness, we have also had to cancel several of our cruises, and each time he has been extremely helpful with the cancellation process. As soon as conditions permit, we will have no hesitation asking him to book our next cruise, as we know him as an energetic, knowledgeable and reliable cruise counsellor.

It’s great to see Wayne back in travel. That’s where he belongs. He has a lifetime library of information on any location you care to chat to him about. You just can’t beat his experience!
