It's Nice To Meet You

My name is Alex and I am a South Shields based Travel Counsellor.

I am focused on forming long-term relationships with all of my clients, based on trust, understanding and independent advice.

My aim is to make planning your holiday as convenient and stress free as possible. I'm always here to listen to your ideas about what makes a dream holiday and then help create an itinerary that will bring it to life.

As well as off-the-peg holidays, with Travel Counsellors, I have access to airlines, hotels, attractions, plus anything you can dream of to build truly bespoke holidays.

I can arrange a wide range of holidays in the UK or abroad, tailormade journeys, weddings, honeymoons, cruise, ski, anything from economy to first class travel and much more.

Holidays are all about making memories, some of my best memories were created in these destinations: Antigua, Barbados, California, Florida, New York, Boston, Canada, Alaska, Costa Rica, Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Bali, Sri Lanka, northern India, Egypt, Dubai, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland to name but a few.

We used Alex Maxwell-Clarke to arrange a rather last minute summer holiday and she was fantastic! After being uninspired by the suggestions from two high street travel agents I was recommended Alex. I discussed with Alex the type of holiday we enjoy as a family and asked her for suggestions. Alex came up with a short list of 3 different countries. She explained why she had ruled out some other suggestions and it was a well thought out list. We decided to go for Canada and the trip she organised was amazing. She handled everything from hotel bookings, to day trips, to internal train journeys and airport transfers - the perfect hassle free family holiday. I can’t recommend Alex enough!

Hong Kong and Australia - awesome! We’ve just had the experience of our lives, visiting two amazing countries, and Alex Maxwell-Clark made it all possible! Not only did she organise our flights but she booked incredible hotels where we were made to feel like royalty. And Alex also arranged some incredible private tours which meant we got to see the true essence of Hong Kong, something I would wholeheartedly recommend. We can’t wait for Alex to help us with our next trip ??

Alex Maxwell-Clarke was amazing in helping us book our first trip away as a family with a 5 month old to South Africa. From finding the perfect places to stay to meet our needs including using a number of her contacts to get the best options to always being on hand to tweak our itinerary until it was perfect. Alex is fabulous always on hand to help, checks in when you are away on your trip and makes travelling so easy! Such a personalised service and takes the hassle and stress out of planning your own trip with access to accommodation such a knowledge set of contacts at the destination. Thank you!!

Just returned from a fantastic holiday to Lapland organised for us by Alex Maxwell-Clarke. Don’t think it’s the normal type of holiday she deals with, but she quickly came up with options that met the brief and made the whole process super simple from start to finish. The holiday itself, was fabulous. We felt we had a true wilderness experience in a fantastic resort, that was a bit off the standard tourist trail. The activities were perfect with some great guides we felt we learnt lots and tried many new things. It was a holiday that worked for our whole family including our young sons, with everyone wanting to return sometime in the future.

Alex Maxwell-Clarke went over and beyond to plan a trip for us to a new country, making sure we had all the right information and documents well in advanced of our departure. She took the stress out of booking and travelling! Alex looked into lots of different options which fit in our criteria and nothing was too much for her! We have just returned from the most amazing holiday in Mallorca, that Alex Maxwell-Clarke booked for us. Every single detail was organised in advance for us and made our entire holiday special. We had zero stress as everything was sorted for our arrival including an early check-in which started our holiday off in style.
