Born in Wales, I’ve had a passion for travel for as long as I can remember. What began with exploring Europe soon grew into adventures across the Americas, Asia, and beyond. Over more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of visiting over 98 countries, as well as gaining more than 10 years of cruising experience. Together, these experiences have given me a wonderfully varied perspective and a wealth of knowledge to share.
But it was my first visit to South Korea that became my favourite destination...for now!
I fell in love with everything about the country—the warmth of its people, incredible food, fascinating history, music, dramas, traditions, and the incredible energy of everyday life. It reminded me of exactly why I love to travel: because sometimes a destination becomes more than somewhere you visit; it becomes somewhere you connect with.
For me, travel has never been about simply ticking destinations off a list. It’s about the experiences along the way, the food you discover, the unexpected moments, the people you meet, and the memories you bring home with you. I love seeking out those special details and experiences that can transform a holiday into something genuinely memorable.
