I’m Bijal, a Travel Counsellor based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, specialising in personalised family adventure travel, multi-destination holidays, cruises, wellness retreats and group travel across Europe, the Caribbean, India and beyond. I work with busy families, couples, solo travellers, friendship groups and golfers who want more than a package holiday. They want thoughtful curation, trusted advice, seamless organisation and an experience that is genuinely designed around the people taking it; not built for the masses.

Travel has shaped my life from the very beginning. My first long-haul trip to Hawaii sparked something that never left; a deep understanding that travel, done well, completely shifts your perspective. After university, I spent three months travelling independently across the Far East through Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Bali and Singapore. That journey taught me that how you travel matters as much as where you go.

Since then, I’ve explored multiple parts of America, the Greek islands, the Italian coast, South America on a luxury multi-destination honeymoon, and India in depth; from the Golden Triangle and Gujarat to the Konkan coastline and Kerala’s backwaters. I’ve cruised through the Mediterranean and Norwegian fjords, experienced Miami and the Caribbean islands, and visited Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay island. I’ve also organised countless group holidays; from Las Vegas and cousins’ trips across Europe to multi-generational family adventures built to work for everyone from toddlers to grandparents.

Before becoming a Travel Counsellor, I spent six years at Royal Caribbean International leading digital and customer experience across EMEA, working across international markets and understanding the cruise product and dynamic packaging from the inside out. I didn’t just go on cruises; I helped build the systems people used to book them. Every itinerary I design now carries that depth.
I’m also a mother of three adventurous boys, so every family holiday I recommend has been filtered through the same lens as yours; what genuinely works, what creates the moments your children carry for life, and what removes stress from travelling as a family. I plan from the inside of that experience, not from a brochure.
And when someone tells me they need a retreat rather than simply a holiday, I understand exactly what that means. I’m a lifelong yoga practitioner, recently qualified in Reiki Healing, and someone who seeks out restorative travel personally. I recommend wellness experiences from lived understanding, because I know the difference between a holiday that relaxes you and one that genuinely restores you.
