I am delighted to share something new and a little bit special with you: my Client Referral of the Year scheme. From now on, whenever you recommend me to someone new who goes on to make a booking, you will earn a referral for the year, whether you book with me or not. At the end of the year, the client who has referred the most new bookers will receive a £250 travel voucher to use with me. You could put it towards a magical theatre break, a cosy weekend in the countryside, or another short escape of your choice. This is my way of saying a heartfelt thank you for your support and for trusting me with your friends, family and colleagues. Your referrals mean the world to me and help me continue doing what I love: creating personalised, stress free travel experiences with the peace of mind that everything is 100% financially protected.

How it works:

  • Simply pass on my details to friends, family or colleagues who are thinking about a trip.
  • Ask them to mention your name when they get in touch.
  • Every new client who books with me and names you as the referrer counts towards your total for the year.
  • The client with the highest number of successful referrals at the end of the year will win the £250 voucher.

Client Referral of the Year – Terms & Conditions

  • The Client Referral of the Year scheme is operated by Claire Spicer, Travel Counsellor.
  • A “referral” is defined as a new client who has not previously booked with me and who makes and completes a qualifying booking.
  • To be eligible, the new client must mention the referrer’s full name at the time of their first enquiry or booking. Referrals cannot be backdated.
  • qualifying booking is any holiday or travel arrangement booked with me that is not subsequently cancelled. There is no minimum booking value required.
  • Group bookings are counted as one booking for the purposes of this scheme.
  • The £250 voucher is valid as a credit against a future booking made with me and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
  • The voucher may be used towards a short break such as a theatre break, UK  city break or weekend in the countryside, or as part‑payment towards any other holiday, subject to availability and my usual booking terms.
  • The qualifying period for the “Client Referral of the Year” award runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. Bookings must be confirmed within this period to count.
  • The winner will be the client with the highest number of qualifying referrals in the period. In the event of a tie, I reserve the right to:
    • Split the prize, or
    • Award an additional or alternative prize of equivalent value, at my discretion.
  • The winner will be notified by email or phone within 4 weeks of the end of the qualifying period.
  • The £250 voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Travel may take place later, in line with the terms of the specific booking.
  • This referral scheme is intended for personal, non‑commercial use. Recommendations made in exchange for payment or by third‑party businesses are not eligible.
  • I reserve the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this scheme at any time, while honouring any qualifying referrals and prizes already earned up to the date of change.
  • Participation in this scheme constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • Your personal data will be handled in line with my usual privacy policy.
