My name is Darryl and I have been in the travel industry for 23 years. I joined Travel Counsellors as I wanted to be able to offer my clients impartial travel advice. Many people are still not aware that most high street agents are owned by just one operator and can only sell that company’s holidays. Here at Travel Counsellors we are completely independent and our state of the art technology allows me to search through a huge range of travel possibilities so that I can match my customer’s requirements exactly.
I specialise in travel to faraway places such as the Far East, Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. But whatever your travel needs - whether it is a city break, honeymoon, tailor-made itinerary or just a flight I will be only too pleased to help.

Darryl tailor-made me a twin center holiday. He was determined to find me perfect flight times and hotels to match my requirements. This was unbelievable service, incomparable to the big travel agents where you are put on hold before you even talk to the bored agents. Very personal service. Very informative and understanding. Make you at ease with lovely friendly conversation. I have been a client with Darryl for over twenty years and many Far East long trips. Darryl has been so helpful, nothing is too much trouble for him and we have had more questions than normal as this is our first trip since the pandemic came along and Darryl has helped us so much with those uncertainties and clarifying requirements for us. Just a brief comment to commend a member of your team, Darryl Bailey, whose considerable efforts made our extended family holiday to Egypt truly memorable. There were issuses about disabled access, special transfer arrangements, flight seats and even last minute hotel changes. All were handled truly professionally - we were we kept informed all the way. We booked our wedding to Mexico for 10 people...days before we were due to fly it was cancelled due to swine flu. As you can imagine we were devastated. Thank goodness for Darryl! He got on the case straight away and rebooked another wedding and holiday for us all in Jamaica! It was an absolute miracle how he did it, we cannot thank and praise him enough, he makes dreams come true.

I would just like to thank your counsellor Darryl Bailey. We booked a holiday last September to Egypt with XL airways that unfortunately went into administration whilst we were in Egypt. We could not praise Darryl enough for his help and support during what could have been a very stressful time but thanks to his willingness to help and keep us informed what could have been a nightmare turned into another happy holiday memory. We have booked with Darryl before and were delighted with the service he provided and would have no hesitation in booking again with him. In fact prior to our Egypt holiday we recommended him to my sister in law who was travelling to Cyprus last June for her son’s wedding. I would like to say that I have always found Darryl to be a most helpful member of Travel Counsellors who goes out of his way to find the perfect holiday to suit my needs.
