We booked an almost month long trip across Sri Lanka with Di Rhodes and it was outstanding from start to finish. Every hotel, tour and visit Di arranged suited our tastes and preferences perfectly and she checked in with us throughout so we always felt looked after and reassured that everything was running smoothly, which it was! Where Di truly excelled was at the end of our trip, when she responded immediately explaining our options with the disruption in the Middle East, and securing an alternative route home via Singapore, before the prices rocketed and availability disappeared. Without our quick thinking and expertise, we would very likely have been stranded or facing a long, stressful journey with multiple conditions. We were glad we had booked a fully protected ATOL package with Di and Travel Counsellors, rather than doing it all ourselves. We saw other travellers desperately trying to find seats at inflated prices and piecing together complicated routes home, clearly feeling alone and unsupported. In contrast the protection package with Travel counsellors went far beyond what was legally required . The goodwill, speed of response, and the level of care we received from Di and the wider team were exceptional . Thanks to Di we arrived home safely and only a few days later than planned, having still enjoyed a wonderful end to our holiday rather than a stressful scramble. The whole experience has really shown us the true value of having a dedicated personal Travel Counsellor. Exceptional, professional, caring service from start to finish. We booked our Regent Seven Seas Grandeur Cruise with Di Rhodes who made the whole process and experience very easy. She was always o hand to help and explain how to get the most from our cruise, during the booking process and right through the cruise experience. Di is your lady! Di was fantastic from start to finish planning and booking our honeymoon in New York. Di guided me thoughtfully through all the options so we would have the best experience possible. We had the most fabulous time and Di was there every step of the way , from checking us in, to delivering us a pack of all the printed documents as a back up, to regular what's apps on her personal phone to check everything was going well for us. She gave us lots of extra tips from her extensive knowledge and even an upgrade at the hotel! Di Rhodes has been my Travel Counsellor for my trip to Japan, in October 2025. She has consistently shown her real expertise in planning all aspects of my holiday. I am not a 'typical traveller:' I was born with a physical disability which affects my mobility. I'm nearly 70 . Di Rhodes has setup coordinated support care for me through every part of my travels: Collection from my front door in the UK and dropping off at the airport. Being met there by a member of the airport's Disability Assistance staff and taken to my flight check-in. She ensured I had a direct flight to Japan to cut out exhausting airport transfers etc. Also, being met at Tokyo's Haneda Airport, where I'll be taken to my hotel - and she's factored in an extra day's rest there. Then a taxi to the cruise I'm taking round Japan on Regent . Di has discussed my support needs with me thoroughly and respectfully, and has arranged a suitable cabin for my cruise. She ensured I'd correctly filled in the cruise ship's forms to declare my needs. Every part of my trip has been meticulously planned. . In all our discussions, whether over the phone or by email, Di has been polite, a mine of information, and a reassuring 'guide' for me, through the whole process. She comes across as a natural and engaging 'people person' in all her work. I can recommend Travel Counsellors as an organisation that clearly acts in their clients' best interests. They can provide, not just exciting and interesting holiday ideas, but are skilled at providing necessary support for clients with specific needs.
