I have been very lucky to spend over 23 years in the travel industry doing the job I love, and I am very excited to be able to continue this at Travel Counsellors. Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge which I have been able to then share with my customers then they too were able to make their dreams come true and create lasting memories. Evidence of getting this right was my very happy returning customers and their amazing feedback and recommending me to their family and friends.
Going that extra mile and putting you first is my priority so I am here for you whenever it suits you and here to make booking your holiday easy and fun. I absolutely live and breathe travel and have travelled extensively around the world and could not possibly list them all. My travels have taken me to places in Asia, Middle East, America, almost all the Caribbean and many places in Europe. I love Italy and Greece and have been to many different Greek Islands and can certainly recommend one for you. I have a particular passion for cruising and have been a cruise specialist for many years having been on several cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, P&O, Cunard, NCL, MSC and Silversea I feel that I can help you choose the right cruise for you whether your new to cruise or an experienced cruiser.
I can help you explore many parts of the world places you had never thought of exploring. Large groups and weddings are my speciality or would like a cruise, a tailor made multi-centre holiday, a city or UK break, all-inclusive family holidays or a round the world trip of a life time , you can be rest assured that I will be there with you every step of the way, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Well, just come back from a fabulous holiday in Thailand to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Not being able decide where to go we enlisted the help of Donna Bailey, a travel consultant with tons of experience and knowledge. Everything was perfect, until 4 days before the end, and on our actual anniversary, when I became ill and was taken to hospital. Trying to sort out all the legal stuff with insurance, hospital etc was a nightmare, but we needn't have worried as Donna quickly came to our rescue. Even with the 7 hour time difference and Language difference, she dealt with absolutely everything and was in touch with us 24/7.
I have heard people say that Donna goes above and beyond in the care of her clients, but for us it was more than that, she went to infinity and beyond and we can't thank her enough.
You never know what can happen to you, and when you're a long way from home not knowing what's happening, having someone on the end of the phone saying 'don't worry, I'll sort it ' is fantastic.
I will never go on holiday again without this wonderful lady, she is incredible. ??

I can’t thank this lady enough for everything she had done for me and my wedding party of 13, we had our flight cancelled late last night to KOS and Donna has worked her magic and got us on another flight for all my 13 party to get us there for our wedding…..not only has Donna helped plan our wedding but she organised both the stag and hen and went above and beyond to make it so special for us both….. this lady is an absolute star and I would highly recommend her to everyone

We have been all around the world with Donna (if you see what l mean) and she has created us holidays to remember, tailor-made to suit us. She knows her stuff and she cares, and we like to think of her now as more a friend than a travel consultant. So pleased she’s back and available to help us with our globetrotting. If only we could pack her in our suitcase and take her with us!

We have booked our holidays religiously with Donna for almost 20 years. At times we have simply given her the remit of just a country. She has never let us down, coming back with flights, resort, transfers and hotel, I can honestly say we have not once had to make any changes to what she has come up with. It's always been first choice, not second or third. She is also very aware of our likes and dislikes and often comes up with great ideas for days out, short breaks and holidays. Over the years with Donna's help we have built some fantastic memories.

Just come back from a beautiful week in the Lake District. I gave Donna a list of things that we were looking for from the property we’d like, she found us plenty of options that fitted our needs.
We were happy to book and knew that in uncertain times we were going to be looked after very well, we knew everything was COVID safe with the accommodation with all the extra cleaning that was in place, which Donna told us about and kept us up to date with any new information.
