From Thermal Baths to Tuscan Art: My Top 3 European Short Breaks
These are my personal favourites, the ones I’ll recommend all day, every day!
I've always loved visiting European Cities, they’re lovely and easy to get to from the UK and always super fun, with plenty of history, stunning architecture, art and of course, delicious food and wine!
Budapest: Grand, Romantic and Great Value for Luxury!

Picture this, riverside walks along the Danube, grand architecture on both sides of the river, relaxing spas and fun-filled nights out at the ruin bars.
This city is perfect for friends, families and couples and all times of year! I’m lucky enough to have been to Budapest three times so far and a fourth trip to come this December.
My top experiences here include: evening river cruise on the Danube, a visit to Szimpla Kert – both day and night as the vibe is so different, a relaxing stroll to Fisherman’s Bastion for some stunning architecture and amazing views over the city.
Florence:

This intimate city really has it all, from beautiful art, wonderful street musicians regularly stumbled upon, great shopping and incredible food and wine throughout.
Florence is perfect for culture lovers, foodies, wine lovers, special occasions and solo travellers who want a charming city to relax in which feels super safe.
Top tips – always pre-book your gallery tickets so you don’t have to queue to purchase tickets or miss out as they really do sell out, take your time everywhere – enjoy the wine bars, relax in the rose garden, spend time looking at the beautiful art and indulging in delicious food, enjoy a day trip to Tuscan vineyards for wine tasting and/or cooking class
Reykjavik:

Not your typical city break, but perfect for a long weekend – think dramatic landscapes, geothermal pools and when in season, Northern Lights or cute little puffins!
Ideal for adventurous couples, friends and families who are looking for some added adventure. Depending on the time of year you go, you can enjoy snowy adventures and short daylight hours or go in the summer for beautiful flowers, different wildlife opportunities and longer days.
Upgrade to a boutique hotel for that special trip, join a private or small group tour of the Golden Circle, make sure you pre-book your lagoon visit so you can fully relax and come home feeling rejuvenated.
