Club Med Palmiye: Where No One Says “I’m Bored!”

Caroline Hoblyn on 20 Jun 2026

Discover why Club Med Palmiye in Turkey is the ultimate “no I’m bored” family escape. In this blog I share my first-hand experience of this beautiful resort set between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean, with its choice of hotel or bungalow-style Villagio rooms, heated pools, 7 Padel courts, adult-only Zen areas, incredible food, kids’ clubs and an amazing line-up of activities from sailing and archery to flying trapeze. If you are dreaming of a sunshine break where everyone can recharge, reconnect and have fun, this is a great place to start.

Amidst fragrant gardens and swaying palms, Club Med Palmiye stretches along the glittering Mediterranean, framed by the Taurus Mountains. It is made for families who want both freedom and proper together-time: kids vanish happily into adventure, parents genuinely relax, and everyone reunites at the end of the day with stories to swap. I was lucky enough to spend a few days there, really getting under the skin of what Club Med does so well.

Why Club Med Palmiye works so well for families<br/>If you are after an all-inclusive that genuinely keeps everyone entertained, Palmiye is a brilliant option. Club Med’s whole philosophy is effortless, activity-packed holidays: great food, premium drinks, kids’ clubs, most sports and entertainment all wrapped into the price. At Palmiye that looks like endless land and water sports, dedicated family areas and a warm, village-style feel rather than a big anonymous hotel.

From London it is around a 4‑hour flight, then roughly a 1‑hour scenic coastal transfer, already included in the holiday cost. You step off the plane and into holiday mode: cool drink, refreshing towel, and that instant “I’ve arrived” feeling.

Where you stay: Hotel or Villagio Accommodation is split into two distinct areas, so you can choose the vibe that fits your family.

The Hotel

By the sea, this feels more like a classic hotel with balconies and lovely views. Room types include Superiors with mountain or side sea views and full sea‑view suites. Rooms are being renovated during the winter closure, so you can opt for brand‑new interiors or potentially better value in the older‑style rooms, depending on budget and priorities. Beds are incredibly comfy. A great feature of all Club Med properties are the interconnecting rooms, making booking for a family so much easier! Walk in showers are also a popular feature, many of my guests prefer.

The Villagio

Set in lush gardens, the Villagio is all low-rise, bungalow-style accommodation with plenty of space to spread out, ideal for families and multi‑gen groups. Some bungalows sleep up to six and are set over two or three floors, and there are fully accessible options too. It genuinely feels like a little village, with that relaxed, home‑from‑home vibe plus all the perks of a full all‑inclusive.

Pools, beach & watersports, Palmiye is a dream if your family lives in swimwear.

There are multiple pools for different moods: lively main pools for games and socialising, plus quieter corners where you can actually read a book. Children’s areas are well thought out, with safe splash zones and loungers close by for parents.

For grown‑ups needing some calm, there are two adult‑only Zen pools, one at each end of the beach. Each has its own bar and jacuzzi, so you can float, sip something cold and simply stare at the sea for a while.

The private beach is long and generous, which means it never feels crammed. The “sand” is more shale, so there are wooden boardwalks along the length of the beach and down to the water, as well as two piers. It makes strolling barefoot, pushing a buggy or just wandering from lounger to bar really easy. If you like a run  or power walk in the morning the boardwalk makes for a lovely stretch.

From the beach you have a whole menu of watersports included: sailing, waterskiing, paddle boarding and windsurfing, plus a boat trip out to a nearby cove for snorkelling in clear water. For sporty teens and adventurous parents, this is a big tick.

The Club Med “circus” magic. One of the things that really sets Club Med apart is its circus-style activities, and Palmiye leans into this brilliantly.

The flying trapeze is the showstopper. Under calm, expert instruction, both kids and adults can have a go, learning basic swings and maybe even trying a little trick. There are also circus workshops and aerial-style games that build confidence and coordination in a really fun way.

This circus spirit flows into the evening entertainment and “showtime”, where children can help with costumes, rehearse mini numbers and then enjoy their moment in the spotlight. It is exactly the kind of “only on holiday” memory that sticks.

Food, drink & a lovely surprise: Turkish wine. I was genuinely impressed by the food. Being a French brand, Club Med cares deeply about its cuisine and it shows.

There are large buffet restaurants with live cooking stations in both the Hotel and Villagio, serving a mix of international favourites and Turkish specialities. It is very family-friendly: everyone can find something they like without any fuss.

For something a little smarter, there are two à la carte restaurants:

The Bosphore: perfect for a romantic dinner or a slower, indulgent lunch.

The Topkapi: another intimate option with refined dishes and a grown‑up feel.

Adults will love the Wine Cave. For an extra charge, you can book a tasting in a stylish little room and explore Turkish wines. They are still under the radar, but the reds are often rich and spicy, the whites fresh and aromatic. The team know their stuff and make it fun and approachable.

Activities, padel & kids’ clubs.

Palmiye really leans into Club Med’s super-inclusive concept. So much is already covered:

Watersports like sailing, waterskiing, paddle boarding and windsurfing

Land sports including tennis and group fitness, yoga and pilates, morning and evening stretch.

Padel on 7 courts, which has become one of the most popular activities in resort, with social games and matches running throughout the day.

Flying trapeze and circus classes

Evening shows and entertainment

Kids’ clubs with great facilities

Meals, snacks and most drinks across the resort

Padel in particular has a real buzz around it here: families, couples and groups of friends all get involved, and it is a brilliant way to try something new together or keep sporty teens happy.

The kids’ clubs are a major strength, with age groups split roughly as follows: 0–2, 2–3, 4–10 and 10–13. Each has its own dedicated space and pool in a calm, shady part of the resort. Days are a mix of creative play, sport and showtime rehearsals, so children are busy, happy and exhausted in the best way.

For parents, the result is simple: proper downtime, guilt‑free, because you know the children are having the time of their lives.

A recharge and reconnect escape.

If your perfect family holiday is one where nobody ever says “I’m bored”, the views are as uplifting as the activities and the food and service feel like a real treat, Club Med Palmiye is a brilliant choice.

When you are ready to start planning your own trip, I can help you tailor it to your dates, room preferences and budget so that your family gets a Palmiye experience that fits you perfectly. Your family’s next great adventure is only a reservation away.
