FAM trip to Mauritius
Visiting hotels in Mauritius
Well, that was a wonderfully busy five days. Hosted by Marriott, I had the opportunity to visit three of their beautiful properties on this incredible island.
Le Méridien was my home for the first two nights. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted in reception with a breathtaking sea view, a refreshing drink and a cool towel. The rooms are very spacious, all with sea views, and the atmosphere around the resort feels really special. Every meal I experienced across the restaurants was excellent.
I then visited The Westin, just ten minutes from Le Méridien. This is a hotel that really focuses on wellbeing, with sea view rooms and suites, plenty of restaurant options and some perfect bars for watching the sunset.
My final stop was The St. Regis. All three hotels are five star, but this one is five star plus. The main building has a charming colonial style, with all rooms offering sea views and the added luxury of your own butler service. The restaurants are outstanding and, as with the other properties, the staff could not do enough for you. They are incredibly proud of their island and its history, and it really shines through in the service.
Thank you to Marriott Mauritius and to Mauritius for an unforgettable few days.
